  1. I still think it's remarkable how they're ranked so much higher than Mizzou. Mizzou has the same claim about losing a close game on the road against a top 25 team, and a similar opponents record. Clemson is still benefitting from FSU being overrated when they played. They're probably also benefitting from the Big 12 sucking and the ACC sucking less. I'd say also that Mizzou doesn't have a win as impressive as Clemson's win this week on their resume. Yeah, winning against GT, @Wake, and @FSU is more impressive than @Texas Tech, Ohio, and KSU/@UNM, but the gap between the rankings is the thing that gets me. Mizzou's barely in the top 25 and ranked behind several 2 loss teams while Clemson is in the top 10.
  2. You could put West Virgina in there too. My guess is they will be playing for the national championship after Michigan loses to OSU and ND beats USC. I'm sure all the ND fans will be crying about it too even though Michigan destroyed them. Regardless, no one touches OSU this year. USC is going to lose to Cal and maybe ND. If OSU loses it will be to Michigan. I certainly wouldnt put that in the win column for OSU yet. I agree that West Virginia is going to end up in the title game. I also think it is going to be well deserved even with all the SEC crying foul. How can anyone say WVU in the title game is well deserved? Look at their schedule. According to CBSsportline it is 100 of 119 DI Teams. They played no one this year. The Big East is terrible this year. They still have to play the top 4 teams in the Big East(aside from themselves), their SOS is going to go up.
  3. On the other hand, maybe I started Johnson after all, Drew and McNabb picked it up, and Crumpler has gone crazy.
  4. nope What the heck is going on then? Is he taking a nap? I flipped over to the game after you asked that, it appears that SD keeps committing turnovers and got down by a bunch so they tried to pass their way back into it.

  6. nope
  7. aka the week TT loses in humiliating fashion. Didn't start Johnson, McNabb has 2 picks so far, and Coles and Drew haven't done crap.
  8. What does that mean exactly? It means that a player drafted 10th can't get a higher bonus than the player drafted 4th.
  9. Well let's see. Air Force lost by one to Tennessee at Tennessee so you're right, Navy must be a bad team. as is Tennessee then. Since Tennessee is a bad team how are they in the top 10? I'm just using your criteria Truffle. No, you're not. Geez, how hard is it? He named ALL of Navy's wins to show that none were particularly impressive; you named one close game for Tennessee and said they were a bad team. Ridiculous. He's calling Navy a bad team while they beat Air Force at Air Force while Tennessee wins at home by one. Not only that but in the last seconds. What makes Tennessee so much better? You're adding another degree of separation, and Tennessee has shown themselves to be a good team with the remainder of their schedule.
  10. Nebraska in front of Georgia Tech, Mizzou, and aTm ain't right.
  11. From the windup his stops aren't exaggerated enough that it should cause him tremendous difficulty to be more fluid. He is slow from the stretch, but that's less of a concern and something that could be worked on as well.
  12. Interesting, Nebraska #15. They are good, no doubt, but they haven't impressively beat anyone in conference. A bad KU team by only 7, a bad Iowa State team by only 14, and a meh K-State team by only 18. They are good, and I'd rank them higher than Missouri at this point (just because they have played USC and UT tough), but I don't think they're a top 15 team. I see them losing two of the next three games: on the road against a solid Oklahoma State, home vs. Missouri, and on the road against A&M. Wasn't Nebraska #17 this week? You don't go up 2 spots by losing, IMO. Yes, I know they played a top team. I still don't think they'll go up. they barely lost though. a win would have put them in my top 10. losing by two to a heavy favorite top 5 team is at least 2 spots IMO. They also barely beat Kansas at home. Their best win was against 4-4 K-State. There's no way they're in the top 15, and they really shouldn't be in the top 20 either. There's too many teams with fewer losses, better wins, or both.
  13. Or you could drive for a td to send the game to OT, whatever. And I take back the bad things I said about Clemson. Spiller is only a freshman? That guy can run.
  14. Fears confirmed. No AD = no passing Well, you'll have more time to try, Brian Smith fractured his hip today and is done until bowl season.
  15. Thanks for winning this week, IMB. Next Saturday is gonna be great. ps thx aTm for making us look like pansies. Losing to OSU, unreal. At least we'll jump them in the polls.
  16. I know if my team were in the world series, I'd head over to my rival team's site to comment on the activity of the game thread.
  17. There's simply no way this is true. There are 3 downright bad teams out of only 8.
  18. Washington State routing Oregon 27-3 after a pick six. Now we need Pitt to step it up and Bama to pull off a miracle.
  19. Maybe you should read a Bears thread before making such an assinine comment. Or should I quote every "celebrate your team winning going over the top" comment I find from last Monday? ETA: I was rooting for UCLA too, but this makes me upset... You seriously don't see the difference between the two? It's not even close. I see him being smug, I see it in Bears' threads also. Granted there's a lot of Bears fans, there's also a lot of non Bears fans. Tell me what I"m missing. How many Arizona fans were participating in that thread? And even then, the posts you're comparing to that aren't similar to this situation. In the game thread Bears fans were pissed at the situation, and then their miracle comeback was a shock to them. Completely the opposite here, no sense of humility or tact.

  21. omygoodness hail mary by Washington sends the game into OT
  22. Kirk Ferentz needs a hug.
  23. This is why people don't like Notre Dame. I've seen this movie a lot of times, and it always ends with a Quinn TD. See? Please don't use the words Haters ever again when referring to ND.
  24. This is why people don't like Notre Dame.
  25. I hate Missouri. I'd expect nothing less. And I hate Ron Prince with a burning passion for using his timeouts. I just now am getting feeling back in my fingers. Did you stay the whole game? I left once Coleman fumbled, I stuck it out as long as I could. Yes, I figured if I stayed that long I might as well see it through. On a humorous note, Marcus Woods has one carry that he has fumbled away to the defense in each of the last two games. Those have been his only two carries.
