No LeBron or Pierce in this game. Bad news. Hopefully Hughes and Pavlovic can hit jumpers well enough. What happened to LeBron? Don't worry, the Celtics will go into Durant-Oden mode and blow it in the fourth quarter. He had some soreness in his knee(nothing serious) and "general fatigue". *shrug* -

I don't think picking the Cubs to win the division is that far-fetched. As far as playoff predictions go, it's pretty much a crapshoot so any scenario is reasonable. Agreed. But Cubs fan or not, I still don't think they have what it takes, as things stand right now, to be considered the favorite in the division. Understandable, but who does?

I think it depends. Yesterday I was watching the Cavs and Bulls game and didn't notice that it was on the HD channel until I saw the border on some of the commercials. On the other hand, watching NFL football over Christmas at my grandparents house(larger TV and seating closer to it) was awesome.

I think that would be good for the Social forum. Not only because there are a lot of stickies there, but there are a lot of recurring threads(the movie thread, long threads for tv shows like Lost or Heroes, what are you listening to thread) that can go a while between active periods. -
Tom O'Neill cost Mizzou a game this year when he was looking at the opposing coach while a player was trying to call timeout, don't trouble him with these trivial details.

He wasn't actually. You can't jump back from under the basket into somebody to initiate contact and expect to get a foul called. And then like you mentioned he handled it with the poise of a 10 year old.

Attention officals: If you are calling nearly a foul a minute, and many of them are ticky tack contact on the perimeter, you are not doing your job properly.

Why? Cheaper and much higher upside? It's not going to be cheaper unless we trade Ward. Durazo probably has a higher offensive ceiling, but his skillset ages quickly, he was beyond awful last season, and he can't do anything with the glove at all anywhere.
