  1. 20,000+ is Superstar from what I remember
  2. Callis said Brackman in a chat today.
  3. 4 games per day. Odds are anyways that one of them won't be all that great, and they'd probably miss out on a lot more viewership by stringing them out over a workday.
  4. http://www.baseball-reference.com/r/renteed01.shtml
  5. Since you didn't say it... Wuertz for closer. Word. Dempster, Wood, Eyre, Howry, Wuertz, and Ohman make 6. I get the impression that Cotts is Iowa bound, and that Cherry's fate is pretty much in Guzman's hands. If Guzman wins the 5th starter spot, then Miller's going to be sent packing and Cherry gets the 7th BP spot(I think with the uncertainty of the staff and the lack of offensive options Lou takes a 12 man staff, barring a trade for a bench bat), otherwise Guzman will slip into the long man role over Cherry if Miller/Prior finagle their way into the last rotation spot.
  6. Spammers are worse, IMO. At this point I wonder what motivates spammers. Is anyone really stupid to read emails that manage to get through filters? Is that percentage worth the consistent effort to try to outsmart those filters?
  7. I know it turned out deadly for the Cubs the last two years, last year when Cedeno didn't come close to his PECOTA, and two years ago when DuBois didn't come close to his PECOTA. What did PECOTA forecast for Cedeno last year? From my memory Bill James was real high on him, but I don't remember anything specific from PECOTA. Cedeno's a better case study for comparing to Pie than Dubois all things considered.
  8. Your avatar is better.
  9. Why would I? Why would you? Did you put a penny in there? They're arresting someone for stealing pudding and toilet paper?
  10. yes, leave Durant, go away and ne'er return
  11. Going by Dewan's Fielding Bible, Jones is one of the worst outfielders in the game. Isn't it Dewan's that had Juan Pierre very high on their list? I seem to remember hearing about how they projected him as the GG winner in 2006, but i may be thinking of something else. Dewan didn't have Pierre rated very highly before 2006. The Fielding Bible was released before last season.
  12. To be fair, they were only favored to win 2 games in that round, against 3 in the first round(although 2 were 8-9).
  13. How can you root against Kvin Durant? I hope he makes it to the final four. I find it very easy.
  14. What do you mean by bricked? Sorry, they died, became bricks.
  15. Time for Nevada to finish what I picked Creighton to do.
  16. diaf Tucker, make ridiculous 3's against MSU and can't make a FT now
  17. Come ON, Wisconsin.
  18. Purdue doesn't have any size at all outside of Landry. I can't see them hanging on to this without some type of shooting barrage.
  19. 137 pitches, my head is spinning
  20. I don't have one, but a buddy of mine had two that bricked in a span of 2 months. On the other hand, both my neighbors have them and they seem to be fine.
  21. I would be in some serious trouble if both Wisconsin and Oregon lose. I hate hate hate this Midwest Region.
  22. Going by Dewan's Fielding Bible, Jones is one of the worst outfielders in the game.
