My "San Diego to the Sweet 16" pick is looking alright right now. Up 6 on UConn with Price seemingly out, and the 12 seed won the other half of that pair of games.

American up 4 on Tennessee at the under 12 timeout. They can really shoot it from 3, so they might be able to put a scare into the Vols. EDIT: They're also hammering Tennessee on the boards, wow.

I can't believe Purdue shot that well and Baylor shot that poorly. Arizona and Wazzou are the two Sweet 16 teams I have that could face trouble tonight.

Nah, I put them in over Wisconsin in one set of picks. They'll beat K-State(they have the athletes to slow Beasley/Walker, and Frank Martin is inept), and they're athletic enough to give Wisconsin trouble. Bukie's right about Wisconsin in Detroit though. Picking a winner out of KU and Georgetown/Wisconsin is extremely tough.

And let's give everyone a chance to look smart right now. What's your biggest surprise/upset pick? Mine seems to be concentrated in the West, San Diego to the Sweet 16, and Xavier to the Final 4.

Tennessee and Kansas had identical records (KU with one less loss) and Tennessee played a significantly tougher schedule. I'm sorry we lost as many games as Kansas when we were playing better teams. Maybe everybody should schedule toward the lower end of the RPI top 100 if that's what the committee rewards. Meh, I wouldn't complain if we were a two and you were a one, but you got to coast through the SEC. And you lost in your tourney. And we really are a better team. But as far as resumes go, yours is better. Based off how they beat the number one team in america on said teams court and you guys didn't play anyone near that good at all? Or based on how every good team you played, you either squeaked by or lost to? You might be better, but I don't think you can just state that as fact because you feel like it. Texas is every bit as good as Memphis, and KU went 1-1 against them without facing them at home, while Texas took Tennessee behind the woodshed.
