  1. Snyder's time was all when Trent Johnson was coaching there, I'm pretty sure. Oh, I thought that Snyder was there for first year of Fox. I could be wrong though. After actually looking it up, Snyder's last year was Johnson's last year. Also, Snyder is currently playing in China. Stay in school kids.
  2. http://mlb.mlb.com/mediacenter/ It's under the "MLB.TV Premium" column.

  4. I don't know if I buy that LeBron doesn't get fouled as hard. It's his own fault because he goes from zero to freight train in two steps, but he gets hit harder than anyone in the league. He's also a much better defender than he gets credit for here, though not Defensive POY worthy.
  5. Yes. Burnett's a better value than Morrow, and while I like Stewart, I don't think he's a lock for regular at bats, and you can find someone similar to replace his production if need be. Plus, DeRosa is fine for 2B anyway.
  6. Nothing of any substance according to Google Translate.
  7. That doesn't make much sense. If they do trade Gaudin to Colorado, I'd like to get an outfielder, Patton's rights, or both out of the deal. It's just Paul Sullivan speculation, but this is what worried me about that report: If you're going to trade a guy who has put up decent numbers in the majors, can both relieve and start and is just 26, you need to get something for him. I agree, but just adding him into the Vizcaino deal is relatively nonsensical.

  9. Glaus is out til June at the earliest. They won't be picking up McPherson with Freese, Wallace, and even Mather as similar players though.
  10. I believe it has. Maybe not all of them following the coach, but at the very least the school lets them out of the LOI. When Anderson came to Mizzou I think UAB let Tiller out of his LOI to follow him here.
  11. Yeah, the NexDef video looks great. I'm really looking forward to using it this summer since I won't be home to use EI.
  12. If he can't find anyone willing to give him a bench spot(which I think will be the case), then he could do a lot worse than playing for Iowa. No 3B depth in our system, and a 3B who is important to our team but has had injuries in the past.
  13. Isn't Accardo next in line there?
  14. I agree but it sounds like Georgia is going to offer him almost a million more per season. That's more than just a 'few more dollars.' Than his current salary, yes(although Anderson made like 1.2 after incentives this year). They've been waiting until the end of the season to negotiate his extension and raise though, which will bring him close to that point, or at least close enough that it wouldn't be worth it to take a worse job.
  15. Yeah, it's only a 10 team league. Not that Truffle's offense isn't very good, but I don't think it's quite head and shoulders above the pack. For a quick comparison: Truffle GRCubsFan My Team C Doumit Soto Shoppach/Mauer 1B Pujols Teixeira Gonzalez 2B Roberts Kinsler Utley 3B Ramirez C. Davis Wright SS Reyes Tulowitzki Rollins MI Johnson Peralta Hardy CI Howard Votto Atkins OF BJ Upton Kemp Crawford OF Ellsbury Rios Ibanez OF Hart J. Upton Ethier OF Jones Bruce C. Young OF Cameron Cruz Hawpe UT Chipper Crisp Milledge
  16. Yeah, unless Georgia is offering Calipari money, there's no reason for Anderson to go there. Plus, like you mention, I'd be very surprised at Anderson going to a worse situation for a few more dollars with how family oriented he makes everything.

  18. I imagine it does. Otherwise there's no reason for Greene's .470/.552/.877/1.429 line to be in front of Weeks's .483/.607/.948/1.555 line.
  19. I'm sure there's a few who didn't discount FanGraphs' valuation just because it looks "bogus".
  20. You think you can count on Bradley to play a full season? Something he's done exactly once when he was 24. Both Soriano and Aramis have spent time on the DL in the last few seasons. The other guy you are counting on OPSing 850+ is a catcher, last year there were exactly three (in 2007 there were 2) who put up those numbers, fortunately one of them was Soto, but he's no lock to do it again. Last year the Cubs got remarkable (lucky) production out of CF an 2nd. They'll not likely see that again this year. If Lee can't play and Hoffpauir doesn't cut it the Cubs are in trouble. Okay, so if the Cubs get below expected production from over half their lineup, they're in trouble.
  21. In the situation I presented, they lose their coach, their incoming recruiting class, and their 3 best and most important players. Do you think Memphis is a surefire tourney team with Kemp/Sallie/Mack/Witherspoon/Niles/Taggert as primary players with a lesser coach leading them?
  22. I've heard UGA would have interest, but I'm not sure why Anderson would want to go there. He's about to be paid well, and Mizzou has a better current team, better future prospects, better facilities, better basketball tradition, better fan support, better basketball conference, and the only tie Anderson has to Georgia is "he used to be an assistant in the same conference". Doesn't make sense to me.
