Even a runner with a preposterous lead is still further from second than Lester is on the mound, and Lester has no problem with underhanded tosses. All he has to do is repeat what happened every time, it doesn't matter if he does it underhand or by lollipopping an overhand throw. That seemed to be generally close at second, though, didn't it? And that guy doesn't have great speed. But I'm sure I'm wrong. It was extremely unclose, Baez had the glove waiting for his slide at the base, and Lester didn't exactly rush his way through the process.
