  1. It's funny I see a play being reviewed and my first instinct is to come here and see what you guys think. I'm like, "am I crazy or is he clearly out/safe?" And you guys just validate my opinion.
  2. Bryan Shaw last 2 games vs. the Cubs. 1 2/3 IP, 7 hits, 7 ER. 1 Loss.
  3. In October 2013, I had visions of Javy Baez becoming one of the best players in baseball after he slashed .294/.396/.638 in 54 games in AA as a 20-year old, with a grand total of 37 HRs that season. April 2018, he's becoming just that.
  4. -Get the Lions twice in 11 days. Thanksgiving could be rough coming off a divisional game against one of the most hard hitting D's in the league. -Believe this is the 7th straight years with a primetime game AT Green Bay -2nd straight year ending the season in Minnesota. -Long trip to Arizona after a Monday night game sucks. -If the Bears are going to do anything this year, the key stretch is after the BYE. Winnable game at Miami before 4 of 5 at home, even though 2 are vs. 2017 final 4 teams. -A good start would be nice as I think Week 1 is the best time to get GB. I don't think Seattle will be a playoff team this year. Arizona is rebuilding. Tampa still hasn't taken the next step.
  5. Went to Game 2 last night in Cleveland. First ever playoff game. LeBron is dope.
  6. I hope he's an ascending player/late bloomer. Almost literally the same player as Josh Bellamy (I'm one of the rare Bears fans that don't hate him). 4th/5th WR who can play well on special teams.
  7. I like Sexton and Miles Bridges more than Carter and Young. Ayton Bagley, Doncic Porter, Jackson Bamba, Mikal, Miles, Sexton Carter, Young
  8. Heyward Lester Almora Good call on his part.
  9. LOL. Why the hell he swing at that 3-0 pitch?
  10. Bulls lose a must-lose game and the Kings are up double digits on the Spurs late in the 3rd. Bulls can go from 8th to 6th in lottery odds tonight.
  11. That I was. I even predicted that Trubisky would be the target, as he had all the traits Pace looked for. Though, I was on record of slightly preferring Watson.
  12. Damn guys. Strop and Wilson should pitch like that all the time
  13. Javy's playing little league ball. I fully support him hitting the ball and just running until he either scores or is tagged out.
  14. It's funny to me how bad Trubisky's feet are in those videos. He's not pointing towards his throws consistently. Not stepping into throws that don't have interior pressure in his face. His feet are kind of a mess even when he makes good plays. The combination of improved footwork, monumentally better weapons to throw to, and going from the stone age to a real offense will give Trubisky the potential to be a top 5 QB in the very near future.
  15. I was offered: Ian Happ, Kelvin Herrera, and Zach Greinke for Elvis Andrus and Chris Archer Points-based, H2H league. I get the most points in this scenario, but it leaves me with no SS. I'd have to pick up one (most likely Dansby Swanson or Brandon Crawford). Which also means I'd have to drop 2 players (to pick up a SS and a 3-for-2 trade).
  16. I wonder if it has something to do his concussions problem and Bears want to help him out medical-wise? Maybe they're trying to still pay him while he doesn't play again and not retire until contract is up? Kinda like what baseball do with their injury insurance thing, I know Albert Belle for example still got paid a portion of his contract while he basically retired due to his hip. why give up a roster spot for that Because you have 90 of them right now.

    NFL Offseason

This offseason has been crazy. Wait til it actually starts!
  18. Sherman isn't coming to the Bears, he wants to win now. I'd rather draft one of the CB's in the top 10 anyways. Guy who wants to win now is taking his 1st visit to the 49ers, who may be his last visit, being that it's near his hometown, near where he went to college, and has a DC he's familiar with from his Seahawks days.
  19. I hope to god this is because they are close to a deal and not Pace being Pace (see Alshon) Hearing that they're going to let Fuller test the market and report back to the Bears with what other teams are offering and the Bears are expected to match anything not outlandish. For reference, this approached worked for the Bears with Lance Briggs back in the day.
  20. There's a difference between him not having a ton of value and him not being a fit. The Bears basically have a top 10 RB and only owe him 1.4 Million over the next 2 years. I don't think he's a guy you re-sign in 2 years, but there's no reason to "sell high" on him. You won't get what he's worth, you'll most likely get a worse RB, and likely getting either a more expensive player in return or replacing him with a draft pick that you'll have to pay more (because you aren't waiting til the 5th for a starting RB).
