Lol, get horsefeathers, horsefeathers I see the man inspired loyalty. That's a plus! I'm not [expletive] on Trubisky btw. I'm a big believer in piling up college starts (and wins, PAs, completions, TDs) to be a serious NFL QB prospect. He's a really interesting case especially with the trade up. Jets fell hard for another guy with limited experience in Sanchez and are still reeling from it. The one year starter thing was the only issue I had with Trubisky as a prospect. But he did get in 18 other games in college, so even with an upperclassmen incumbent starter, UNC still saw enough from him as a freshman and sophomore to throw him in a bunch of games and it's not like they were all blowouts either way. But piling up college stats has never been a prerequisite for a good QB, as the college football all-time passing leaderboard is filled with terrible NFL prospects. Carson Wentz only had 40 more PAs (10 more completions) and 4 more TDs despite many more starts. Then of course, there's Cam Newton who was a 1-year starter that was an NFL MVP. Tom Brady who was back and forth on the bench in college. Matt Cassel, who like never started in college and was at least a serviceable starter in the NFL. Obviously, those guys are the exceptions to the rule, but Trubisky has all the tools (accuracy, arm strength, mobility, ability to go thru progressions) to succeed.
