    I saw one highlight from this guy and it was very impressive. Big blocked shot on one end, ran the floor well and finished with huge windmill jam. Camby is a good comp, I was also thinking Clint Capela-ish. I think those guys are needed in today's NBA and hopefully he's a nice front-court compliment to Lauri and Wendell.

    The White Sox have been playing well. I had a feeling these games would be trouble. Not that I’d have much confidence playing anyone right now.

    After starting slow, he has his OPS over .800. His K% is about 26%, which is about 10% lower than it was at the majors last year. So maybe sort of encouraging. I’d rather Happ than Descalso on the roster at this point, but that’s not saying much. Yeah, definitely. Happ can play IN/OF, switch hit. Bring up Happ and let him dispose of Descalso's body.

    I didn't realize I'd get so much pushback on this! Maybe using the time he got shot isn't the best time to introduce my David Ortiz hot take. :-" I don't want him to die and don't think he deserved any of this. But the only time I enjoyed David Ortiz is when he was destroying the cardinals in the world series.

    Nah, he's still a jerk and a baby. Remember the time he destroyed that bullpen phone over balls and strikes, threatening his teammates with shards and a helicoptering bat? That's who he is.
