Probably because up until this year most of us didn't even know Mizzou had a football team. I did....but only because I knew Kellen Winslow played there. You don't remember us raping you guys last year? I guess it is hard to distinguish one ass kicking from the other eight, though. Pretty much. You're supposed to take offense. Well, that was the second-worst sporting event experience that I've witnessed in person. We didn't do one thing right last night. Awful blocking, awful tackling, couldn't catch, couldn't punch it in inside the red zone. OU is a damn good team, and I have no shame with an 11-2 season, it's just too bad we couldn't pull off something special. It's also a shame that Illinois and KU are going to get BCS bowl games and we aren't. I hate you all.

My flight to Texas leaves tomorrow at 2. Staying at my gf's parent's house in Dallas tomorrow night, then we're all leaving early Saturday morning for San Antonio. I'm so jacked up. Prediction: Mizzou flips the score from the last game, beats OU 41-31.

At the moment I'd say no. He has too many accuracy issues. He's turning into a heck of a spread college QB though. There's nothing wrong with that. he may e a very effective college QB, but that wasn't what was being debated I agree Derwood. He's going to have to improve his passing ten-fold if he plans on doing anything in the NFL. I doubt he ever will. He's kinda like a poor man's Brad Smith. And Smith never got a shot at QB, now is a receiver/ do it all man for the Jets. And before Illini fans jump on me, Smith is the only player in college football history with 8,000 passing yards and 4,000 rushing yards. I was going to post the exact same thing, almost word for word, before I saw your post. Brad Smith was a slightly better QB (and he sucked at QB) than Juice, and definitely a better runner than Juice. There wasn't even talk of him being drafted as a QB.

Good choice with the Pebbles. I had leftover pizza that I was saving for dinner, but I ate it for lunch because I was hungry. Now I'm starving, and disappointed. I wouldn't wish this feeling of disappointment on anyone.

Mizzou's lack of ability to make a layup is going to cost them the game. Three chances under the hoop and couldn't make it, ARK got the rebound and got fouled. Mizzou down 90-89, 26.2 seconds left, Arkansas shooting two.

They are getting a scrappy, gritty shortstop, a quality middle-of-the-rotation innings eater, the next Carlos Beltran, and a lefty reliever. I don't see how they COULDNT take that deal.

What have they been saying? I haven't really been paying attention to that aspect. They're making a huge deal about the Mizzou players saying they felt they had the game but then kinda lost it with turnovers. HOLY CRAP can you believe that Mizzou players are saying that? I'll try to find a link. It's pretty ridiculous. Are we supposed to just bend over for them or what? We definitely shot ourselves in the foot that game. We were up 24-23 when Pig dropped a for sure INT, then after they ended up scoring on that drive, we botched a handoff. I won't say we would've for sure beat them, because they could've outscored us in a 4th quarter shootout, but those two things basically took ourselves out of the game. Kinda sad that they need things like this to get themselves up for a game of this magnitude.
