  1. How the hell did he turn that corner. Wow.
  2. I would've liked Cordero, but not for this kind of money. Glad Hendry stayed away.
  3. Arkansas takes the lead!
  4. This is the first time I've seen Arkansas this year, and they frustrate the hell out of me. Call me old fashioned, but I prefer when my quarterback takes most of the snaps and throws the ball. I like my running back to stick to running, blocking, and catching.
  5. You sure? If UT and OU both win, they will be 6-2, and OU won the head to head. If they both lose, they'll both be 5-3, again with OU claiming the head to head. I'm pretty sure Texas has to win and OU has to lose.
  6. Middle of the order slugger.
  7. He does? How has he proven that he has the ability to return to 04 form? He hasn't proven that he can't. If Prior comes back without a loss in velocity, there's still the potential out there to be much better than '04, let alone as good as. If you don't think Prior can get back to '04 form, then go ahead and cut him loose, but I'm of the opinion that this was a guy who's been pitching hurt for the better part of 4 years, and to set him free now that he was actually diagnosed properly is crazy, and frustrating. I'm not saying he can't return to '04 form, but he definitely hasn't shown the ability to do so yet. All we've seen from Prior since '04 is constant injuries and inconsistency and ineffectiveness when he has pitched.

  9. Gardner vs. Kleiza. Kleiza is putting up some solid numbers this year.
  10. Dirk just went nuts. Dallas went on a 12-2 run to end the 3rd quarter with Nowitzki hitting four straight threes.
  11. The dumb kU fan who made that spelled Missourian wrong... not that I would expect kU alums to know how to spell or anything. Psst....it's supposed to be Missourifan, as in Missouri Fan ;)
  12. Maybe. The MU Alumni Association sent out an email to all members today. And I've received several forwarded emails over the past couple days from people encouraging everyone to vote for him. There could be something shady going on, but I wouldn't underestimate MU alums either. Hopefully that's the case. Plus I bet he's got a whole lot of Texas voting for him too. Hopefully it's not rigged but you never know.
  13. I think it's got to be rigged or something. Chase was down 1500 when I checked it this morning, and now he's up 40,000? Something's fishy.
  14. Nice showing by Mizzou tonight, upending Maryland 84-70. I think we got a pretty good read of what this year's team will be like in these past two games. Hopefully we can stay competitive throughout the year. We've got some pretty big games coming up with Arkansas, Cal, Purdue, and Illinois.
  15. What a terrible announcer. brutal announcing. and the only thing lamer than tearing down another team's GP is tearing down another team's goalposts when the team you beat was 2-8. Which, of course, is what Mizzou fans did in Lawrence. They rushed the field after beating a team that had only beaten one Div 1-A squad. More proof that the KU game is and always will be MU's superbowl. AHAHAHA I love when ku fans say that that game is our Super Bowl. Why is it then that more Mizzou fans show up for Nebraska, KState, Oklahoma, Texas, ect. It's actually the other way around. Oh and by the way, ku set a single record attendance this year with a whopping total of 51,900. I don't know about you, but I'm honored to play a team of KU's caliber year in and year out. What a treat for us. I'm so glad they give us this opportunity.

  17. Ahem. Daniel. No respect I tell ya. ;)
  18. It's almost always tough for us there, regardless of talent. I think Anderson has you goig in the right direction. A lot of mess to clean up from that embarrassment Quin. You aren't lying. We've got a decent class coming in next year. It'll be interesting to see what's going to happen with more of Anderson's type of players coming in.
  19. Yeah, god forbid they show the last 5 seconds of a close game instead of a 20-0 lead in the first 6 minutes. How dumb. wouldn't have bothered me if it weren't already on another espn channel. The reason they were able to switch to bonus coverage is because it was on another ESPN channel. indeed...but i already have espnu...if i wanted to watch that game, i would have. well some of us dont. let me enjoy the 5 seconds of mizzou defeat i got to witness :( You'll get to see plenty of that all year. I can't imagine it being any more than it was the past two years. I think we have the talent to sneak into the tournament, but we'll probably make the NIT. Hopefully we can play you guys tough this year. I can't wait for the game here.
  20. I knew I shouldn't have added you.
