  1. Yeah, the little "hop cut" that runners like to do when they get the ball, not real good tonight. Addai falls down there trying it.
  2. Oh boy, that was a terrible turnover if it holds up.
  3. Yeah, technically I agree it's pass interference, I just like to see no call there because I don't like when QBs are able to play for PI by throwing short. Happens too much, IMHO.
  4. sorry to call you out Truffle, but this is one of the worst bits of prognostication we've seen all year He's a weather man what do you expect 8-)
  5. Good no call. I hate when QBs throw the ball short and then it's interference because the pass was poor.
  6. Wow...TT, are you joking or drunk? The SEC has 11 bowl eligible teams this year...11. I think we'd played this game last year, and your SEC hatred is again clouding your judgment a bit, IMO. The SEC's weak teams consist of Ole Miss and Ole Miss alone this year. That's funny because 3 weeks ago you said Mississippi St was bad after they got blown out by West Virginia but then they beat Kentucky and Alabama and now they're good? Or is it just when they play BE teams they are bad like when Auburn lost to S.Florida? Maybe they're only good because: A: They play horrible teams out of conference B: Play all out of conference games at home I don't deny that it's a solid conference, but it's not the best. No one has stood out to be that or proven to be that. I don't think it's ever possible to "prove" a conference is better. When I look at the SEC, to me it's clearly the best. I honestly think if a team like Oregon had to go through that SEC schedule, they'd put up at least 2 conference losses. Same goes for any of the other top teams in any other conference. Name your team. They'd lose at least 2 in the SEC. Tell me why you think it's the best. I just did. Tell me why you think it isn't. I've already written 3 posts why. I don't see any from you yet other than just because. I'm too lazy to read back and find out. If it's just more non-conference record junk and margin of victory stuff, then with all due respect it's nonsense.

  8. how about just Tampa Rays since the city is Tampa anyway. Yes. I don't understand that city's desire to call themselves after the body of water that is next to them, rather than just the actual name of the city. Because they are trying to include St Pete. Obviously, but it doesn't do so.
  9. I don't understand it either. Actually, is there any doubt Dempster is going to suck as starter? No doubt here. He's junk in anything but a closer role, and shaky there as it is. Besides, why the hell are we making declarations about our starting rotation in freaking November? WTH is that all about?

  12. This team is crap. Wait 'til the roadtrip. You think it's bad now.
  13. As an Illinois native, I must say it's very cool to have Illinois be a factor again in college football. What they did today is sending massive shockwaves through the BCS. It's been a long time since the Illini were more than an easy win for every team on their schedule.
  14. Nice trickeration from Kansas. Kansas down on the 10 after the fumble recovery.
  15. Who votes for the SS? Is it the writers again? I'd like to see a different group voting if that's the case.
  16. I second that motion. Specifically, move the Marlins to North Carolina so the Cubs will come here every year. There hasn't really been a chance to see if Tampa would support a winning team or not. I think they deserve that chance. The Miami fans have already proven they won't even support their team in the playoffs. They should be moved, it's a horrible fan base and I don't think a new stadium is the answer. National Van Lines is.
  17. OU is going to murder Kansas. I don't know if Kansas is even going to get to face OU. Missouri has Kansas St. and Kansas left and if they win both of those, they'll take the Big 12 North and would likely get a rematch with OU in the Big 12 title game while Kansas will be watching from home. You could very well be right. I think the Big 12 is stronger this year than they have been for awhile, even though I don't think they have a real championship threat.
  18. SEC is still much stronger. Thanks though. Stronger, but not to the extent you're making it out to be, and not because of the terrible reasoning there. It's one reason. If I went to lay out the entire case of SEC vs. Pac 10, the post would be 10 pages long. Then you'd have to break out your mod powers and delete it. I'm just trying to be helpful.
  19. SEC is still much stronger. Thanks though.
  20. I don't follow your logic. If LSU gets beat in the NC game, then the SEC isn't presently the strongest conference? ok. I don't understand. My point was that national pundits continually say that the SEC is the strongest conference but the constantly ignore how strong the Pac 10 is. My point if Oregon was to beat LSU it would prove that the Pac 10 is the best conference One game doesn't prove a thing. I don't see how one game proves anything either. Actually, I don't see how the Pac-10 is stronger than the SEC at all. This year it's Oregon, ASU, then 2nd tier teams like USC and Cal. There are a ton of bottom-tier teams in that conference this year, from Oregon State to Stanford to Arizona -- all are complete bunk. The SEC is a much stronger conference overall. National pundits are saying it because it happens to be 100% correct.
  21. If Kansas wins out, then there's no way both OU and LSU can go. One of them must be knocked out to a lesser BCS game because Kansas is a big conference undefeated team. If it plays out that way, of course. Big if.
  22. Hey Buckeyes, you lost, show some class and get off the damn field.
  23. Oh Hell It's Over
  24. Oh my God what a HUGE play by Juice.
  25. Illini have really taken that clock down. But it doesn't look like they will get points. OSU will have a chance to drive & tie.
