I disagreed with you a lot yesterday, but I'm with you completely here. Bears games on Sunday afternoons are much, much more fun. Agreed. I don't care much for waiting around all day for the Bears game. I would much rather get it over with and then move on to other things.

I try not to be concerned about Detroit, but there's too much history there. I'd rather not face them in the 1st round.

If the Cubs have the highest payroll in the division for the entire decade, I'd bet a lot of money on them having a better record than the 00s Would you take 1 World Series in the decade and trade that for more years of suckage? I would.

I'm not sure what to think about this change. I do agree that the level of criticism of the current (now, old) system was a little out of whack though.

No reason they can't do better, but I don't see a compelling reason why they would be better either. It's just something that is up in the air pending decisions that the club makes over the next several years.

I guess Hendry might need to forgive himself for that contract unless Sori has a much better year. Other than that though, there's nothing to forgive.

Who is? We own Vancouver most nights, San Jose is reeling as hard as we have been if not harder. Would you call Nashville or LA as legitimate force? Detroit of course scares the crud out of me. Yeah, but I view teams like Vancouver and San Jose as having good talent on their roster. Better than the Coyotes. Let's see how Phoenix does with that lineup when they have to face a quality roster for 7 games.

I believe it was a detroit based blogger doing what all columnists have done, say something stupid to get attention. I saw a story about that on Yahoo sports. The Yahoo guy couldn't understandwhy anyone would get offended by what happens at Blackhawk's games. It must be really amazing in person. It's great. Detroit is populated almost entirely with idiots, everyone knows that.

Well that's bad. I just read a CBS sports article that said Aramis' shoulder is all better. Guess that's what I get for believing media reports. Yes, that will definitely put a damper on things if he can't play up to his standards, both in terms of the Cubs' chances and in terms of me being excited about the team.

That makes little sense to me. Ron's offense with the Bears didn't exhibit anything that would make me think he knows how to develop receivers. I think he should have gone back to college.

Why the he'll does CBS show highlights in low def for games that they themselves are showing live in HD??!? Makes no sense at all.

I think Kane was surprised too. It looked more like good fortune for the Coyotes than anything. That's a tough road matchup for anyone. I'm glad we got a point out of the deal. Still, watching the Hawks blow leads is becoming an all too familiar occurence.
