  1. LOL, I didn't even know this game was happening.
  2. Yeah I don't see why it is necessary to be right up front in the bleachers. It's not like you are getting a close-up view of the pitcher or batter.
  3. If I was a fan of that team, I'd feel better if he didn't interview until the Finals are over.
  4. Why? Unwanted distraction.
  5. I don't know much about Thibs, but I'll bet Boston is miffed he didn't wait until the Finals are over to sign. I'd probably be a little upset too.
  6. What game was he watching? That's a pretty dumb comment. Not having a killer instinct would be letting the Flyers close to 1 goal, or even tie the game. The Hawks matched every single time the Flyers tried to pull closer. The Flyers didn't quit, but neither did the Hawks. Who is Puck Daddy anyway? Stupid name.
  7. I guess last night is a good example of how # of shots on goal isn't the end-all, be-all of how a team played. The Flyers actually wound up with only one fewer shot than we did. But watching the game, to me we dominated play for the better part of the game. I felt like we played in their end of the ice more often than the first 4 games, we definitely punished them more, and frankly they really only had one thing to try against us: the pass to the backside. They lost most of the battles along the boards, Pronger was dominated, and we created a ton of breakaways down the ice when they moved the puck into our zone. Play like this again, plz. Oh, and choose whoever you want to play goal. Boucher didn't look much better to me than Leighton. Both are below average goalies for Final.
  8. they got back in the series by passing across to an open man on the back side. I don't find it surprising they are continuing with what gave them some success.
  9. Pretty awesome Buff has put Pronger on his ass, and scored a goal with Pronger unable to do anything but watch.
  10. No you should. The Flyers keep coming, and this is the Stanley Cup Finals. yea, 2 goal lead feels like nothing. Penalty on Pronger. At least we're finally getting a fair shake from the refs
  11. Our PP has gone to hell. Anyone ever won the cup with no PP goals. Philly wide open on the back side AGAIN.
  12. Man. I wish Buff would do that to Pronger all the time.
  13. I guess we'll let them dance a jig with the puck too. Christ!!
  14. That's right dammit, answer the F- back on these guys.
  15. What the he'll did I just say?
  16. Fantastic period! But it's still very, very early. So I think I will just say what I always say in these cases: DO NOT LET THEM ANSWER.
  17. I'd rather have split the home and away games. Now I feel like there's no stopping Philly. They have too much momentum.
  18. They sure don't look like a team that is just losing a couple road games but will take control back in Chicago. They look more like a team that has been figured out by an opponent and is shaken by it. They're back on their heels. This is lookin' mighty bad.
  19. The typical Chicago collapse at the doorstep. Wonderful.
  20. It's funny.....I just think Chicago isn't the only city that has bandwagoners when their town goes to the Cup Final after not being there for a long time. Much is being made about Hawks bandwagon fans, but this isn't exclusive to Chicago. Philly bandwagoners are skating by unnoticed right now. You know you're out there, hiding in the bushes ;)
  21. Yeah, I got a chuckle from it too. The one guy wearing the Cub jersey, totally playing up the "new Hawks fan from the Cub side of town" thing, was funny.
  22. You know, there's Philly fans who just jumped on the bandwagon, too.
