What I most understand from Matt Forte is that he was a little miffed last night so he tweeted it. Then the media picks it up and it becomes a huge deal. Before twitter there were probably many guys who were, for a short time, upset and then came down from it. The public would never have known. But now we get to hear it out in the open and turns into a huge story. I'll just wait for a while to see if it really means anything.

Man, look at how scattered the East is. It looks like they could wind up with a 3 seed (Florida) that is worse than teams out of the playoffs in the West. The Keith hit looked bad to me. I think he's gone for 4-5 games.

Careful what you read, until you see it on the field. People can say what they want. I'll wait until I see if Matt still has the same zip in his running before drawing any conclusions about the effects of that injury. As for the Bush signing, I'm alright with it although we still haven't upgraded our line.

Poor Tavaris Jackson. I think Flynn will beat him out. Matty better add some wind sprints to his daily regimen with turnstyle Frank comin' to town.

How much of that offense will suffer without Payton's guidance? I think that's probably the question. Otherwise known as: how good an on-the-field coach is Brees? It'll be an interesting year in NO, that's for sure. I really doubt his suspension will be reduced. This was Goodell directly sending a statement. It would be really weak to back off now.

Maybe not tonight but he's been pretty good since he came here from what I've seen. Not great, but certainly good enough for a 2nd or 3rd pairing defenseman. Eddie O was on the Score today and he mentioned that during the losing streak, Q was telling his guys to cheat a little bit on the defensive end to create more odd man rushes/offensive chances, etc. with the idea of ourscoring the opponent, but going onto that West trip we ran into some pretty good defenses who shut us down and really burned us. Since then the Hawks have been doing a lot less of that and have obviously seen better results. I dunno how much of that is the reason why we're playing better. I'm sure it is part of the reason, but to me the main reason might be as simple as good goaltending vs. bad goaltending. Can it even be explained? At the exact time they should have packed it in, with their best player gone and not returning on schedule, with no reason to expect anything at all..........they're suddenly playing like the best team in the league. It's fantastical and grand.

I'm pretty sure I heard Elway say straight up that he didn't see Tebow as the guy, moving forward. Right during the Tebow streak, too.
