  1. The Jets offense reminds me of what the Bears looked like when we had Shane Matthews.
  2. Then there's going to be some pretty massive fallout. Especially if Manning can play again.
  3. I don't know if this is sarcastic or not, but Green Bay just did this exact thing six years ago, with a much less injury-riddled QB and a much lower draft pick. And I'm fairly sure it worked out ok. NFL franchises have to do what's best for them, they can't afford to honor history. Not even close. Favre was much closer to being done. And the Packers have always had way more going for them than just a QB. This is most certainly not a sarcastic post. Every bit of excitement Colts fans have experienced over the past decade can be traced to one man. To cut off his balls without even giving him a shot to show he's still viable would be ridiculous. And let's be honest. Luck's not sitting around for years. This isn't Rodgers, a QB drafted much lower and made to sit because of that and learn. This is the single most well regarded QB coming out of college in a long while. He's starting year 2 for sure, or it's a major slap in his face. Sorry, but I think there's huge fallout if the Colts draft Luck. Let's stop acting like this is a simple thing. It's not. Peyton Manning is that city, and in spite of his injury, there's still reason to believe he's got many years left as a QB. This isn't Favre. Not by a long shot.
  4. Jerseys are jerseys. They are ugly, but whatever. I don't even think they're ugly. So they're orange. So what? They aren't even close to as ugly as, say, those Jets throwbacks. They're fine. Wear them once a year. No problem with it.
  5. This could get interesting if the Colts really do go 0-16. How can they actually pick Luck? It means, by definition, they're numbering the days of Peyton Manning - the greatest thing that's ever happened to their franchise. How can they really do that? He's not even had a chance to really show he can come back yet. That would be a slap in the face of a legend, of epic proportions. Something that I dare say has never been seen, ever before.
  6. Well, it's just one more log on the fire that is our OLine. It's a patchwork deal, this just makes it that much more so.
  7. We're Chicago. You know we can't have anything purely positive happen. There always needs to be the shadow lurking beneath. It's who we are.
  8. If he didn't, that's unacceptable. But typical of his team. It's becoming typical of HIM. No class.
  9. Hah, you turds. Only when the Bears are up by 30 do you finally start to provide some positive commentary on the team.
  10. The Lions fans on the blog I'm reading seem to agree, as its all they are talking about. Hooray for mindless regurgitation.
  11. Seems like forever since we've seen the offense.
  12. That was some kind of jam at the LOS by Tillman. Stafford was too busy whining to the refs to help his team out.
  13. Thank the stars above Stafford is way off today. Billick thinks he just needs to take his gloves off. OK, well if that's all it is and he won't take them off, then he's an idiot.
  14. Need a good drive to start the 2nd half in the worst way.
  15. They got robbed even though it should have been a personal foul and a first down for the Bears, and wasn't. The league has already talked to Suh about that kind of behavior. Clearly he doesn't care. At some point someone is going to have to start calling him on the thuggery.
  16. As bad as Philly has been, the worst team that they've lost to before today was Buffalo and they still had a positive point differential on the season. Arizona had only beaten Carolina and St. Louis and had a pretty decent negative point differential. It was a pretty decent upset. And Arizona had their backup QB starting. It was a definite upset Maybe it was an upset, but Philly's in disarray so it hardly matters what it was.
  17. I don't think I want to watch the 2nd half.
  18. MY GOD PLEASE STOP.
  19. Gawd. Please just kneel down.
  20. And drops.
  21. Lions are getting back in this game. No doubt in my mind.
  22. Not that I recall, but I think it's time to start.
  23. We look pretty bad on offense, and Cutler is begging for an ambulance visit.
  24. Right now I'm seeing plenty of plays where Stafford is just missing. If he finds his targeting that would make things much different. Nice job stopping him from getting the first down there.
