  1. Hard to take my eyes off that nightmarish rooster roaming around on the floor.
  2. 10 hits so far tonight and 2 runs? Holy [expletive], plate some [expletive] runs you clowns.
  3. LOL, yeah. I have my lawyer make a public response every time I flick off a player at a game, too.
  4. Which is just going to inspire them to run a Blackhawks star. I don't expect any foolishness from Torres. He's been a huge part of the Sharks run because he's a solid skater and provides a lot of energy. He's a useful player if he keeps his inner felon in check. He seems to have realized that for now. If it was his first time I might say the same. We're talking about a player who has been suspended for hits to the head on more than one occasion. I don't think he's learned anything. It will eventually happen again. Also, I just don't want Hossa having to think about it while he's playing.
  5. ...tried searching for some kind of nfl draft signings dashboard article, and failed. I assume this is a poorly worded sentence. Like abohnhoff said, the Lions have all their picks signed now.
  6. It's fun watching the highlights from the other broadcast. There was an actual hockey game last night. I was stuck watching the Wild broadcast. I thought it was a funeral.
  7. LOL @ Nuckies. They've now lost 10 of their last 11 playoff games.
  8. If (when) the Canucks get swept and AV gets fired, I hope the new coach tries to change the culture of diving and dirty play that they'd had in Vancouver. The guys they have should try to win games by being good at hockey instead of aping Italian soccer players. I love the Canucks laying a fat one in the first round, but on the other hand, I'd like Torres out of the playoffs.
  9. Nate: "God blessed me with a lot of heart and no height." haha. love this kid.
  10. Really hard to grasp what this team is doing right now. Amazing stuff.
  11. Not only that, but he claims that he does advertising for a living, which makes him a [expletive] hypocrite.
  12. I didn't get that idea at all from what was written. It's just showing people what it would actually look like. I didn't see any anti-advertising spin. In fact, he mentions at the end how important the ads are likely to be to the whole thing. Look at the image credit, and then look at the guy's post in the comments section.
  13. LOL. The Renege.
  14. The guy who did that Wrigley rendering was trying to show everyone how horrible it will look. I think it looks decent. Well worth the extra money it will bring in.
  15. Sure. I think the chairman did as well. Im saying the Bulls didnt do enough to mitigate the PR disaster Rose is in right now, and I think we all can agree its a disaster. Rose is the reason this is happening, however, they should have done a better job shielding him. Hard to do that, when everyone can see him flying all over the court in practice. Are they supposed to try to make everyone believe he really can't dunk all that well, it's just an optical illusion?
  16. Probably a factor, but to me the biggest thing was when the Bulls let it be known that doctors cleared him. Then you see the footage of him practicing and all looks fine (admittedly to the untrained eye)......hard to understand.
  17. Man, the situation with this team in the playoffs both last year and this year. Bizarre-dom.
  18. Mwahahah. Luongo getting bitchslapped by SJ.

More like last year versus this April.
  20. I don't think anyone has forgotten this. Some people appear to think it is the neighborhood that makes the park, not the other way around. It's more that the people make the park, and Rosemont would be a huge downgrade in accessibility, and therefore walk-up traffic. Yeah, seems like teams want to try to move back in to the city rather than out. Cubs are a special case though. I think Ricketts needs to make the threat credible before anyone will listen. He would need to actually start going through the process, start making serious moves in that direction. He already did this with the Spring Training facility threats, so he's done this kind of thing before.
  21. He's trolling regarding something he clearly knows little to nothing about. I do know that Stewart is 3-32 at AAA Iowa. Must just be bad luck that is causing him to be batting .094. :hello: Just post that the first time.
  22. It does look to me like Emery's team made a decent recovery after fumbling horribly in round 1.
  23. It would seem that way but I don't think that's the case just based on Emery's comments. He had this guy targeted from the start. Which makes Emery all the more stupid Doesn't really matter what the reality was behind closed doors -- I'd expect any GM to come out and say "he was our guy from the beginning." I'm not taking his statement as-is. It's PR.
