  1. Hundreds of women isn't very many at all.
  2. I doubt he'll be the starter in year 1. Emery said he can come in and contribute right away. I don't see any way for an OL to contribute right away if he isn't on the OL. And he was drafted in the first round, so he better freaking start somewhere. I'm basing that comment on the fact that he's pretty new to football overall. It's just hard for me to imagine a one year college OL just plugging in to an NFL line like he's been playing for years. I think they'll need to coach him up for year. Or maybe sit him the first half and start putting him in later. Maybe Emery & crew know what they're doing, I don't know. I still think it's a terrible value pick, and it sure looks to me like they got desperate when the run on OL took place earlier in the round. It's a better pick than Dallas & Buffalo................not saying much though. Looks like Dallas might've panicked on OL even more than the Bears did.
  3. To me it means he thinks he's out smarting everyone else. Extremely unlikely. Much more likely? He's not that smart. Which is bad news if you are a Bear fan.
  4. More like everybody realized he's not that good. Eh, I think he would have been 1st round.
  5. I doubt he'll be the starter in year 1.
  6. There was a lot of talk about how Te'o would not fall very much due to the scandal. As it turns out, it cost him.
  7. For the record, he also said Long is one of his favorite players in the draft.
  8. Mostly it's just hilarious how all these [expletive] drafts are a replay of each other. Major meltdown guaranteed. I just can't get how Emery would tie himself to a reach like that when he can see good value picks falling down to him. I usually hate CYA guys in business, but jesus. C your [expletive] A. Nobody's going to applaud you 3 years down the road for your willingness to go outside the box, if Long is released. They're going to double down on the calls for your head to roll, because it was a terrible value pick.
  9. Yeah, 3 first rounders and all look like good prospects. Paid dearly for that last guy, but isolating the 1st round it's hard to argue.
  10. LOL
  11. The Vikings just blew up the NFL's plan to leverage the Boston massacre for their own purposes.
  12. Well, at least that makes me feel better. The Vikings NEED to be capable of reciprocal stupidity, or else the Bears are really screwed.
  13. Damn, they really loved Long. He's either lying, or his draft evaluation system is way beyond anyone else's.......or he's just stupid. Which is most likely?
  14. It *is* hilarious how these drafts make people crazy, but your point isn't really what it's about. It's about who is getting decent value at the positions they draft.
  15. Dude, the point is it's time to call a spade a spade on this kind of [expletive] pick. That's a terrible pick at that point in the draft, and yes you can talk about good things the kid might do, or talk about how he might actually pan out. It's still a bad pick, and I guess I'm expecting you of all people to understand that and not try to rationalize it.
  16. Te'o probably a decent pick there, but I get the joke :)
  17. Enough. It's a reach and therefore a poor value pick in the 1st round, and you know it.
  18. Seriously bad pick. The man can't draft.
  19. Curveball
  20. Sheesh, NFL Network.
  21. They're gonna take Teo, aren't they. My god, they're gonna take Teo.
  22. LOL, I love the draft.
  23. That's it then. Best record in the league.
  24. What. A. Save.
