    any replay you are dying to see will not be shown on the jumbotron. Do you people think it's like some giant personalized RedZone channel or something? Have you ever actually seen a jumbotron in use at a stadium? How dare you deny the paying public such gems as bad dancing and kiss cam. People have been waiting for years to know the words to take me out to the ballgame. Need a jumbotron if you want to take the 7th inning stretch to the next level.

    I'm more excited about this draft than I've been in awhile. There are a lot of ways we can go. Just make solid value picks and we'll be fine.

    For a team playing for their season, they didn't seem all that into it to me. They did come back I guess. I never felt like the Hawks wouldn't take the game.

    It might *not* be worth a shot for them. How much money do they want to spend to continue a legal fight they can't win, when it'll very quickly kill any profits they might have had anyway? The kind of argument they can come up with is nearly irrelevant. This would be about attrition, and available funds. The Cubs have more. Much more. I think this was always the fact that the Cubs were going against these rooftop owners, who had the city as either an ally or at least a passive enabler. That's changed now. The rooftop owners are now all alone. Even the public at large thinks they are a bunch of whiners. And the powers that be have clearly just told them to back off and deal with reality.

    Yeah, sometimes I have to check the scoreboard to see if we are on a power play or not, because it's not obvious. Sometimes our 5 v 5 looks more like we are on a PP than the power play. I don't really get it. Hope it doesn't hurt us in the playoffs.

    Who will goon it up more? The Blues and by a lot. The Wings probably still believe that they can skate with the Hawks. Their game has been more about skill than size. They have a few dirty players but I'd expect them to play it clean in the playoffs, at least until they're down 0-3 in the series. The Blues only chance of success against the Hawks is to make it a slug fest since they really don't have any scoring talent up front. Really, it should be 5 games tops against any of those 3, but the NHL playoffs scare me because of the history of wash outs. I think I would take the Wings. I haven't really seen the goon factor from them this year, like I just saw from the Blues. That doesn't mean it wouldn't happen. I'd love to send the Wings out of the conference with a drubbing in the playoffs. Would make me smile much more than dispatching the Blues.

    They are the one team most likely to deliberately try to re-create the Hossa situation from last year. Yes, we can beat them but it's silly to say you want them over all other teams in the first round. Let someone else dispatch with their thug asses.

    Refs seem to have started to clue in to the Blues' act now. Our power play is pretty bad.
