    He comes close, but is careful to couch his words with "might" "if" and "maybe" in all the right places. He also suggests the Bears might franchise Cutler and then see what he might get in a trade, which has been discussed here as well. So, he's basically just re-iterating what others have already been talking about: Bears have a huge organizational decision to make coming up. It's not at all clear what direction they will take right now. It might be shocking to many if the Bears don't continue with Cutler, but it's got to be considered an actual possibility. Nauseating or not. Every week McCown turns in a solid performance, expect this story to gain even more traction. Also, depending on what Jay is like when he returns, could either quiet this down or ramp it up even more.

    What does this even mean. There are still Chicago fans who think McCown is a young developing QB, rather than an older player with an NFL history. I'm still hearing it from Bear fans I talk to, even.

    Hehe, that would be the hope now, wouldn't it... I'll ride that horse until he keels over. If there's one thing Trestman can say, it's that he's been able to keep things going even with a crushing injury at the QB position. Green Bay can't even say that this year, so it's been impressive. It would just be nice if Chicago collectively learns who the guy actually is. Josh is turning into one of the better stories of the year.

    Look at those turds at the top of the rankings. This late in the season, does the ncaa really want people to not watch THAT badly?

    I don't know. Biggest thing is Detroit is easily the healthiest of the 3 clubs. The Packers are absolute junk without Rodgers, so depending on his actual return date things will flow from there.
