  1. Curious why you like PIT's chances. Seems like GB has the advantage in that one, even without Rodgers.
  2. Lacy > Bell In the snow @ Lambeau, I'd have to think that gives GB an advantage. Hopefully it's not the deciding factor. But PIT's running game has been anemic and GB's has been pretty good. So if teams struggle to throw, the Packers are the team that will likely still be able to move the ball consistently.
  3. Interesting. Doesn't "medically cleared to play" also mean that he's not in any abnormal danger of re-injury? If so, then I don't see how they can argue that Briggs wouldn't play because he wants to protect that shoulder. I understand the mental thing, and the potential for feeling weaker (and as a result, less capable).
  4. Rodgers ruled out for Sunday: http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/10171386/aaron-rodgers-green-bay-packers-again
  5. How so? Would need a Lions loss to Minnesota, then the Bears/GB game would be winner takes division. Which could happen. It's in Minnesota and the Vikings have been a tough out lately. I think the strong likelihood is that the Bears will play for a chance at the playoffs against GB. Just depends on whether they'll be in control, or need some help, to get it done.
  6. So does Joniak. We'll see. I wouldn't be surprised if McCarthy did that.
  7. That's pretty good. Usually it's none, or one straggler.
  8. It's been loads of fun watching the Bears become a competent passing offense. The ability to consistently convert 3rd and long is just another hallmark of that.
  9. Now you're just being silly.
  10. I doubt many will actively root for the Bears, even though it makes sense.
  11. Maybe he's doing the opposite this week -- make it look like Rodgers isn't starting and then put him in.
  12. I hate twitter speak.
  13. Anyway, Monday night games that are entertaining have become the exception so tonight was better than most.
  14. At one time people thought the NFC North might be one of the league's best divisions. Now it's a battle of attrition, no WC team, and 9-7 might very well take it.
  15. I'll put on my Bears homer hat and say that every team gets screwed by the refs, Bears included. Lions pissed this away just like they historically piss away games. I mean - Ravens never found the end zone and the Lions still couldn't win.
  16. Good lord ESPN. Just showed Lions @ 8-6
  17. Tucker on his 61 yarder: didn't get ahold of it but I got enough. Dude can kick.
  18. Well it ended the game. Fantasy owners of Rice didn't like it I guess
  19. YES!!!
  20. They paid Flacco for dick, how much they paying THAT GUY?!?
  21. Unreal
  22. So both GB and DET come back to win by 1 and foil the Bears? So typical
  23. Lol
  24. No confidence in BAL
  25. By the rules, that should have been a 15 yarder
