    You have to make it a one score game. Or you don't. No you're right. You can choose to trust your stout defense that will no doubt get you the ball right back. if you don't trust your defense, getting 7 instead of 3 is even more important than usual. who cares about getting within one score if you think your defense is going to give up another score the next drive? go get as many points as you can. Just don't turn into Shoop when you put the playcall in.

    I don't disagree. Their remaining schedule isn't all that favorable, either. I'd be surprised if they win next week in Seattle. They still have 2 games left against Carolina.

    They still rank top 10 on both sides of the ball though. Part of it is they don't have to be great this year to still stick out. There's plenty of mediocrity out there to hide a team's flaws.

    Some of the most boring NFL football I've tried to watch this season. I thought at least the Saints would be good for some scoring, but no.
