  1. DEMETRICE MORLEY INTERCEPTION FOR A TD!!!!!!!!!!! The defense is taking advantage of a really, really bad QB now! 27-3 Tennessee and it's turning into a rout.
  2. How do you get a 10 yd penalty without a loss of down? Holding maybe?
  3. Eric Berry with a 75 yard interception return for a touchdown! 20-3 Tennessee now, mid fourth.
  4. Beat Bama. Is that game in Knoxville? Yes, and not likely. Alabama plays better on the road right now....Tennessee couldn't beat Auburn, so I doubt they'll beat Alabama. But this is the SEC so who knows... I don't think Alabama is that great. Texas, PSU, USC, OU, and UF would blast them I think. I disagree. Bama is very talented, but also very young. They'll look dominant one week (Clemson, UGA) and mediocre the next (Tulane, Kentucky). If they're on, though, they might be the best team in the nation. Does looking dominant against Clemson mean anything at this point? I wouldn't put their best game within 10 points of USC's, Florida's, or UT's best game. JPW is very average. I agree whole-heartedly with your last statement, but I think you're underestimating Bama's talent. At their best, they are very, very good. You don't build a 31 point lead at halftime on Georgia through luck. And Clemson is most certainly mediocre this year, but that was still pretty impressive domination (and I think most teams are struggling to score on Clemson - something Bama had no problem with). Any of those teams you mentioned could beat Bama without a doubt - and would demolish the Tide if it was a bad day for Bama - but at their best, Bama could hang with any of them.
  5. And Tennessee can't capitalize on the extra possession. A missed deep pass and failed trick play and now we punt it back to Miss St.

  7. INT Deangelo Willingham!!! Tennessee gets the ball back around the 50!
  8. Beat Bama. Is that game in Knoxville? Yep, next Saturday at Neyland. I'm hoping it'll be a good atmosphere (and I think it will if we can win tonight). The defense should be able to keep the Vols in it, but I'm not sure the offense can move it very well against Bama's defense.
  9. And, after a pretty darn good drive, Lincoln misses his first field goal of the day. #-o Still 13-3 Tennessee.
  10. Now touchdown Tennessee for sure! Montario Hardesty ran this one in and it's 13-3 Tennessee.
  11. Well, apparently Rogers' knee was down at the one. ](*,)
  12. TOUCHDOWN TENNESSEE!!! Nick Stephens hit Austin Rogers for the 21 (or so) yard TD. But, now they're reviewing whether his knee was down before the ball got in...
  13. Neither team even tried to score after Tennessee's second field goal. Still 6-3 at halftime. I think the offenses are scared right now.
  14. Another field goal by Daniel Lincoln, and Tennessee leads again 6-3. Late in the second quarter now.
  15. first to double digits wins At this rate, I'm not sure either of us are getting to double digits.
  16. And with 6:43 left in the half, Mississippi State kicks a field goal and it's tied at 3.
  17. I'm actually a little bit worried right now about the Titans' chances against the Chiefs. Larry Johnson has been suspended for a game, thus meaning there's no reason whatsoever why the Titans should lose. I hope the team doesn't go into the game thinking that.
  18. Field goal by Daniel Lincoln makes it 3-0 Tennessee! Sadly, that may be enough scoring to win this game. . . :-))
  19. Tennessee/Mississippi State going exactly the way I thought it would. The teams are moving it around between the 20s and I'm not sure anybody's reached either opponents' red zone yet. Middle 2nd quarter, no score.
  20. He was joking, playing off my last post in this thread. I don't think he was joking. And he did say that he didn't think Santana was "A LOT" better than Peavy. And he's right. I think the "mouthbreathers" part was a joke. The Peavy is better than Santana part he was serious, though, I think. Why do you say Peavy is better? I don't have a solid opinion, so I'm curious as to why you think so.
  21. And Miami decided to blow away Duke in the fourth quarter. :(
  22. Tennessee game about to kick off. Hopefully we can beat Mississippi State.
  23. With Tennessee thoroughly crapping the bed this year, I am quickly becoming a Duke fan  . I fully admit it's only because I'm rooting for David Cutcliffe, but I'm finding myself rooting for them each week.
  24. Great effort by Ole Miss today. And I have to reiterate, the Rebels are not a terrible team. Those great recruits (relatively speaking) Ed Orgeron brought in finally have somebody competent coaching them.
  25. Just an FYI, it's Mississippi that beat Florida and the Rebels also beat Wake Forest (a top 25 team right now). They're not terrible - not good per say, but also not terrible. I was talking about counting Vandy as a quality win when they lost to the worst team in the SEC. That's why I reference Illinois and Wisconsin as wins over them were Howry upon. Ah, gotcha. I agree that Vandy is not yet a quality win. They are basically as good as Auburn and Tennessee and neither of those two teams are a quality win either. The only difference between the three is that Vandy played complete crap for the most part and are overachieving to be as good as the other two.
