Just goes to show you how bad the ACC is. Dukie did beat Vandy! and UVA! its not impossible for Duke to be bowl-eligible. They are 4-3 with an OK schedule left. @ Wake, vs. NC State, at Clemson, at Virginia Tech, vs. UNC. I think they'll beat State, and they can sneak one of the other games out. When was Duke's last bowl game? Spurrier's regime? yea I miss Cutcliffe.

Yeah but if Penn St wins, and they finish without a loss, they probably make it to the NC game. And they probably get blown out as well. I'd love to see Texas or Florida go up against an actual defense this year Texas no...Florida has. By the end of the season they would have played: #4 Defense #7 Defense #8 Defense #9 Defense #15 Defense #16 Defense #22 Defense And none of those are LSU. Which one's Tennessee? #4. I ranked by yards per play. I'll do some mathematical analysis mapping on it tonight though. Interesting. I knew they were good, but not that good. This season is so reminiscint to 2005. No offense, great defense.

I don't think they'd win, but it'd be competitive.

In all honesty, mediocre might be a complement for this Tennessee team. hey at least they play better defense than every team in the big xii. We might hold a Big XII team to under 400 yards of offense. And we might actually score in double digits against one of their defenses.

And it's about 10x better since switching QBs from Jonathan Crompton to Nick Stephens.

I really wish this Tennessee offense would help out the Tennessee defense just a little. It'd doing a heck of a job tonight, but the offense can't punch it in. Field goal Bama. 16-3.

After an extremely rare bad Britton Colquitt punt, Bama started their drive inside Tennessee territory. They got close to the 20, but the Vol D stopped them. Another field goal Bama. 6-3.
