    weren't you in the NIT last year? Lets be honest you came this close to losing 3 games before you made the final 4. If you would have lost any of those the whole feel about KU would be a lot different right now. Correct, one year after winning the title, they lost in the 1st round of the NIT. They should've lost to UM but they lost to a better team in UConn. Look at UK under Calipari and it's been fair to say, they have been an annual contender. One disappointing season doesn't change that.

    Ulis will get time, Im looking forward to them going small with him and twins on the court. Not to sound like Hawk Harrelson but Ulis might be the quickest since Rose or maybe even Iverson. They have matchup nightmares with 4 big men and those 3 all seeing minutes. Add Lyle, Booker, and Toens and they're 10 deep. The reserve 5 could defeat most schools.

    I picked other as well, I have no idea why but Bob Dernier was my fav. player on the '84 Cubs. Once he was gone, Dunston became my fav. player on the team.

    Can't wait to see Por/Hou. if Wade is not 100%, I can't see anyone beating SA, OKC, or LAC out of the East. Hibbert has done a great disappearing act.

    They're not going to add anything, I just want to see what they have in Valbuena (2B), Olt, and Lake. I want them to cont. to display guys likely on the block (anyone not named Castro, Rizzo, and Castillo) or anyone who might be of value to another team. Comparing them to the A's is pointless, they need to have a successful trade deadline.

    We also had McNutt, who was top-100 at the time, iirc. I don't see how the first paragraph contains so much more value than the second. No one should be happy with the state of franchise, they should've started adding pieces from outside the organization that are major contributors in the short and long terms. It doesn't matter why at this point, they'll need to spend more and Theo/Hoyer will have to do better in their FA signings. The state of the farm gives me optimism though.
