    Not that anyone cares about how deep the "umpires call guys out when the ball beats the runner" conspiracy goes, but it's seemingly trickled all the way down to the depths of the Lexington Adult Baseball scene. It's deep. *me, still mad about getting tossed at 3rd that one time this year.

    I don't think they *have* to, but my guess is that they will ere on the side of caution. Better to review anything close than to refuse it, and then deal with the fallout tomorrow.

    The Padres bullpen is exhausted, ya'll. Lets bust this open.

    Right now the Padres have and xBA of .275 and the Cubs an xBA of .273. The Cubs have the 4th best OAA in baseball. THe Padres have a -7, good for 18th. Sometimes you make your own variance.

    Yep. You have a former SP who's rested. If Kittredge handn't been used the last two days, I think he would have had an inning. But considering that? It's probably Keller for six.

    If I told you in March that the Cubs would have Drew Pomeranz and Brad Keller closing out the last 9 outs of a playoff series, you'd have thought I was crazy.
