Should be leading off for good.. I know no one is used to seeing out leadoff man get on base, but that's how it's done. Weren't you just complaining about people saying good things about kosuke after one good game? You know Fuld was OPSing in the .700's in AAA, right? And that Fuld has been languishing in the upper minors for a couple of years now.
You're going to be here so long. Did I say something wrong? I don't see any personal attacks. Better keep it that way. As that for everyone on the board? Some moreso than others.
Take this stat for what you will: Outs recorded on the basepaths 2009 (doesn't count caught stealing or pickoffs): Brewers: 20 Cards: 22 Cubs: 22 Astros: 24 Reds: 33 Pirates: 33 By that stat, the Cubs aren't the worst baserunning team in their division this year, much less the worst in the majors. The Reds are the only team that get on base less than the Cubs on that list. That amuses me.
This seems to be a common trend that we've had problems with for many years. Remember how much fun it was to watch Moises Alou on the basepaths? /twitch *Airmails cutoff man, catcher, pitcher backing up catcher, first ten rows of the stands*
Von Joshua teaching life lessons? What, was he explaining to the guys how to deal with the mad they feel? Will he take them on a trip to the Neighborhood of Make-Believe?
