  1. No need to be impatient with him. He's having a great run, but I'd like to see him keep up this success over a longer stretch of the season.
  2. he's basically a non-prospect and is too old for that league, but hey, at least he's giving them really good production. Pretty much, considering that most of Daytona's prospects are not exactly known for their hitting prowess. He might be one of those late bloomer types, but he's been in this system since 2001 and this is his fourth go-round in Daytona. The guy is still 25, in spite of all that.
  3. Definitely a nice start against Vazquez, regardless of the results.
  4. This is probably my favorite random lineup of the year.
  5. Chirinos is a HR away from the cycle in Game 1 of Daytona's DH.
  6. He was one of the late round guys who intrigued me. Lots of great tools and physical gifts, but not much in the way of production. I'm all in favor of those kinds of guys at that point in the draft.

  8. I don't see Wes Darvill listed on either roster. :-k
  9. It's not just the "clog the bases" comment itself that gets me. It's that he's claiming that, because power hitters clog the bases: 1) They have high OBPs 2) Their teammates will inevitably have lower OBPs as a result That seriously hurts my brain.
  10. Jake Fox looks like a random frat boy they just dragged out of the stands to interview.
  11. I loved it when he checked his hair after that catch.
  12. Man, that was sick. I'd make that my .gif if I could. They're going to show it if we're lucky!
  13. They've had really good pitching this season. They need to add a bat if they have plans of keeping in it, though.
  14. Seriously, he sucks. He shouldn't be doing that.
