  1. Lay off the borderline pitch, swing at the crap. Sounds about right.
  2. We're tying the game if Bradley gets an AB this inning.
  3. Jake Fox looks like a deer in headlights behind the plate. This is delightful.
  4. We did. His name was Corey Patterson. He ran into Don Baylor and Dusty Baker, which effectively ended his career.
  5. Yankees with A-Rod. Yeah, that's the only one I could think of. It happens periodically in baseball, though. Remember when Pujols had that oblique problem? Or Lance Berkman's knee? Or that time Prince Fielder had to go on the DL with a dislocated jaw because he tried to swallow a honey-baked ham whole? Prince is a vegetarian so it was a big salad. Like the one Elaine likes. Way I hear it, he called it a salad because it had a parsley garnish.

  7. Uhhh... I think anything less than 5 games over .500 is a HUGE disappointment for this team. We've had our full team like once or twice this year and Aramis still isn't hitting and Soriano's can't be 100% with his knee either. No team is ever really 100%, to be fair.
  8. yes i'm sure a righthanded pitcher intentionally put his hand up to block a hard throw from the shortstop to first baseman. Baseball players are not renowned for their intelligence and common sense.
  9. http://www.globalnerdy.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2008/09/grandpa_simpson_yelling_at_cloud.jpg
  10. Up next, a crazy old man rants from the dugout while wearing a baseball uniform.
  11. Good time for the All Star Break, imo. It's going to take Aram longer than the ASB to get healthy... We knew when he came back that he would be in pain. Right now, the key for him is to play through it and re-gain his strike zone. He hasn't looked horrible since coming back, but they may have brought him back from the minors a bit too soon.
  12. I love the one guy in the background who excitedly jumped up when Soriano hit that.
  13. Tony LaRussa's a genius. Ask him and he'll tell you!
  14. Tony LaRussa looks like he had a chemical peel.
