  1. Bob Brenly does not like Manny Ramirez. Yay Rammy!
  2. That's not really a hit-and-run. It was a 3-2 count. With just 1 out.
  3. BA seemed high on him as a second day guy during the draft. I'm curious to see if he has a future or is just roster filler.
  4. And of course he was traded for Doug Mientkiewicz.
  5. On base percentage (OBP) and slugging percentage (SLG). OK....so what would a hitter like D Lee's OPS be?Lee's OPS entering tonight was .927. OBP of .376, SLG of .550. For comparison's sake, Albert Pujols entered tonight with a 1.120 OPS, resulting from a .445 OBP and a .675 SLG.
  6. Tennessee has a few guys who actually are halfway decent at worst. There's some worthwhile pitching on that roster and Starlin Castro is really intriguing. Iowa? ...sure.
  7. Archer only got 1 IP in before the rain delay. Nothing to worry about in terms of his final line.
  8. Playoff push for Iowa or Tenn Tennessee's tied for first in their division and Iowa is 2 back in their division.
  9. I hope the 2006 Cardinals get the 2004 Red Sox treatment when it comes out that Carpenter and Pujols took turns injecting each other in the rear with HGH and bull steroids.
  10. Yep, just another day for this team. I'm looking forward to a game full of cheap hits, Texas Leaguers, seeing eye singles, and stupid errors.
  11. Rain delay in Peoria. Z's final line: 5 scoreless, 4 H, 0 BB, 5 K
  12. Would you prefer Cowboy Up? or screw up, which is what he did to this team. Might as well go whole hog and say [expletive] up.
  13. Maybe this team's amphetamine shipment was held up in customs.
  14. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand this post just went off the rails.
  15. Valdez returned to Boise's lineup last night.
  16. BA confirms the Brandon May signing. Still no updates on their list with anyone else.

  18. They absolutely have a chance. They're currently in 3rd place in their division, but only 1.5 games out of first. I'm not familiar with how wild cards work in the PCL (or even if they have them in the first place), so I'm not sure if that's another route to the playoffs. 4 divisions, each team in first place goes to the playoffs.
