I am also a fan of Frank Thomas' "Big Hurt" baseball for Sega Genesis. But yes, the Indians are now one of my favorite teams because of this.

If they can't be contacted, I vote we find their replacements. Yeah, I think we have to consider this. How long do we give them? And who would we ask to take their teams? August 1 sounds like a good date to me. That gives us a full month or so to draft. As far as who replaces them, we can always just post a thread in the General Fantasy Sports section asking for a replacement or two. August 1 until we start looking for a replacement, or do we start drafting August 1? If we need to find someone else I think we could afford to be a little selective about it. What say everyone? And get your keepers in, Tobias, ChiCubs, and Vance. I say Aug 1 until we look for a replacement. The first game isn't until the first week of september, right? So then maybe by the end of the first week of Aug we could start the draft (assuming we can find someone quickly).

This seems like a perfect opportunity for Murton to come up and show that he belongs here. I was thinking about that when I was driving home from work today. Hopefully Murt gets his shot.

Ok, be fair. The throw barrett messed up was spiked into the infield dirt between first and second, then hopped all teh way to the plate. That was a perfect throw that i'm pretty sure I could have handled. Friggin' Kendall.

Probably just because Hill hasn't started in over a week, and hasn't played in that long (not including yesterday). I think most people understand why Lou would want to get him in the lineup tonight. Petrick is coming up though, and Hill was easily the most likely option to go down in his place. Now that we know that Hill is not going down, Soto becomes the most likely option to go down, and of course most people don't want that. Yeah. I'm worried now. Soto BETTER not be going back down. He has already given us more than either of Bowen and Hill have (Two awesome throws down to second, and an RBI). And that was in two games. This sucks.

correct. I think vance's game notes are wrong (as it said we're 3 behind the dodgers) Yeah, it was the dodgers, but It looks like the dodgers have regained first place in the west. I'll edit my original post now.

Haha, oh i'm sure they are. They're probably so pissed right now. They're most likely going to break in every time A-Rod, Jeter, or David Ortiz come to the plate and show us their AB.
