    My best friend growing up (who is a huge cubs fan) turns 21 today. That has to help with some good mojo, right? If not, at least he can legally drink himself into a stupor to deal with the cubs inability to do anything worthwhile.

    That's just ignorant. 2003: 214.0 IP 136 ERA+ 2004: 209.7 IP 165 ERA+ 2005: 223.3 IP 131 ERA+ 2006: 214.0 IP 136 ERA+ 2007: 168.0 IP 116 ERA+ He's consistently pitched 200+ innings per year, put up an era+ in the 130's (with the exception of a down year this year, which is balanced out by his spectacular 04)

    Yeah, or it might have something to do that he dehydrates really quickly and the last two games he's pitched in it has been REALLY super friggin hot outside. Hence, heat cramping.

    I understand where you're coming from. But theres a difference between sounding nervous and sounding completely unintelligent. He sounds more like the second. he plays baseball, doesn't need to be intelligent I never said he needed to be. But complete stoned-sounding unintelligence is really annoying.

    Magnificent proportions? Uh, not really. it's 5.5 games. That's not hard to make up at all. A week and a half of good play while we/the brewers slump could turn things around REAL fast. Remember, there's still a month and a half left in this season. They just might be able to pull it off. I Just want to bump this. Still say a collapse of magnificent proportions? A day and a half later the Cards are 3.5 back of the division lead.

    To me, 21 K's is the obvious answer. I can't imagine a team pitching to a player after he has hit 4 hr that game.

    On the league's homepage click the "Team" tab at the top. Once there, click the "Owner Options" Sub-tab. Then, on the screen that shows up, the third option is "Set my Keepers"
