Again, you are terribly, terribly wrong. Again, no, I'm not. I agree with TT here. Pie came up and, no, he didnt fail. He hit very well when he first came up, plus his patience was much better. However, he went into a 2-week-or-so slump and then we stopped playing him. He's young, yes. But he's learned all that he can learn in AAA as, if i recall correctly, he was tearing it up down there before we brought him up. He just needs to see ML pitching every day and he'll work himself out of his slump.

Did anyone hear the radio interview with Marlins president David Sampson when he was asked about the deal? He at first said he couldn't believe it. And then said if it were true that baseball was about to return to the ridiculous contracts that got clubs in trouble. He had a hard time believing that the 20 million figure was accurate. David Samson only has his job cause he's Loria's stepson or ex-stepson or something. Beinfest is the brains there, Samson is just in it for the strippers. And he's like 5 foot 3. here's the yahoo article about what vance is talking about LINK I love the next line, the author of this article really slams it to Samson: :lol: -
Honestly. Could you imagine what kind of attention that would draw the game? Of course, mlb doesn't care. they're too busy taking down video highlights off youtube.

MLB hated that we spent as much money as we did last offseason. They know that cuban would continue to spend in order to win. MLB wont have that (unless you're the yankees or redsox)
