    Let's hope Lou noticed that Murton was used against righties and lefties at AAA. Don't bring him up to start once a week and then wonder why he's not hitting. Agreed. Murton strikes me as the kind of player that needs consistent AB's to be good, he's not a bench player who can play sporadically and still hit. Ding Ding Ding, we have a winner. When Murton is allowed to play through his struggles, he puts up very solid numbers: 2005: .321/.386/135 (BA/OBP/OPS+) 2006: .297/.365/103 When he isn't allowed to do so, he doesn't: .252/.331/74 (hell, even when he is sucking at least he's putting up an OBP some 80 points higher than his average)

    Thats impossible as I'm pretty sure a PTBNL cannot be on the 25-man roster when a trade is made.

Seriously though, I think we should just put a thread up in the fantasy forum and pick someone out of the group that replies. Also, i suppose if Uber shows up by draft day we should let him keep his spot.

    This is really pathetic. We're going to have put like 13 people behind the plate this year by the time it's all said and done, we're already at like what, six? 1- Barrett 2- Blanco 3- Bowen 4- Hill 5- Soto 6- Kendall

    Pete and Shoeless Joe for sure. The way I see it; it they allowed Ty Cobb in (first, no less), no one should ever ever ever be held out for personal/off the field/legal problems.

    I'm pretty high on both, Pie has great speed and has 5-tool potential. And Marshall has a great curve and can hit a dime 60 feet away, He's got deadly accuracy. This is the second time you've said this and it's the second time I'll call you out on it. Marshall's is above average at best. Where you get the idea that he's got this Greg Maddux laser eye control is beyond me. You certainly couldn't have gotten it from actually watching him pitch. Scouting reports.
