His days as a Dodger are presumably numbered, and I'd be interested in your thoughts on where/how he'd fit in Chicago? Assuming talk of signing both Price and Heyward is realistic, would it be more enticing to look into signing Upton, Zimmermann and Span and trading for Puig? He's also still only 25 years old (in 2016), which is 14 months older than Soler. I'd imagine that payroll would be a much better situation in the 2nd scenario, assuming something like Castro and Soler is what it takes to acquire Puig. Would probably mean adding in the neighborhood of $52M to the 2016 payroll. Scenario A likely means adding around 57 or 58M, right? I realize that would be an immensely busy offseason, but if we're looking at adding a significant amount of payroll, would you rather see it be through paying 2 of the Top 3 Free Agents or would you rather see it be through going a little cheaper via free agency and making a trade for a potential star?
