  1. I'm assuming you'd put Davis in LF? The difference between Coghlan and Davis is negligible to this point. The thought was 3B, but after looking at his UZR/150, nevermind.
  2. No way. I'd rathat have him pitching against the Phillies tomorrow than for the Phillies today. Then we'd have two guys MacPhail dealt away beating him on consecutive days.
  3. Florida fans will soon be wistfully remembering the Ron Zook years, as McElwain begins his trainwreck tenure in Gainesville. The Gators appear to be on the verge of disappearing from any relevant CFB conversation for the foreseeable future. These could be dark days for CFB in the Sunshine State. FSU is going to take a big step back, Miami hasn't been relevant for a while, and Florida could finish behind Kentucky in the SECE. They have two scholarship QB's on the roster, and both have major questions.
  4. Any chance we can trade for Hamels before the game?
  5. There are rumors out there that Baltimore may become a seller, and they have a couple of names that would be interesting. Chris Davis would be a guy I'd love to have. And with their treatment abuse of Gausman, I wonder what a package for those two might look like?
  6. When you're relying on Clayton Richard, Dallas Beeler, and an injured Tsuyoshi Wada for the 5th spot, I think starting pitcher is clearly the biggest need. Plus, what real difference-maker is available as a bat + easily slots into the everyday lineup? Another starting pitcher provides a real impact, IMO. I think you at least have to explore what a package would cost. There are some intriguing options out there: Shields/Upton (Justin, not the terrible one), Bruce/Leake, OR if you're willing to throw the bank at someone, Price/Cespedes, Reddick/Gray.
  7. Unless your league offers inordinate amounts of points for defense, I don't think I'd carry two catchers. I also think the ship has sailed on Starling. Get rid of 3 pitchers, and you're golden.
  8. I guess the real question is: Vlad Jr or Moncada?
  9. I have an Amateur Draft upcoming in a Dynasty League, and all Internationals signed so far in 2015 are eligible, as are all recent domestic draftees. I am picking first in this draft and am deciding between several Internationals. IF you had this pick, who do you go with?
  10. I really hope that Dewees can play CF up the ladder. The idea of him in LF is very unappetizing. He's not going to RF on a 35 arm, that's for sure. Has anyone ever developed a stronger OF arm through working on form? Mind you I'm not talking about going from 35 to 60; just maybe 35 to 40. According to Diamond Mines, the first scouting report on Larry Walker listed him as a 4/8 for arm strength, with a future potential of a 5/8. I think history has shown that to be drastically incorrect.
