I get it. You need two backs (if not 3) in the NFL, and you need guys to help take some of the pressure off of Mariota. Going Conklin, Henry is a good combo for the Titans.

I really don't care that he smoked weed. But I wouldn't have drafted him highly at all. I'd have likely drafted a kid from a California school or Oregon or something. Maybe even the kid from Deltona, FL who played college football in Memphis. But not a weed smoker from Mississippi.

Having a photo/ video of you smoking pot on your phone from high school still is really stupid. Yeah in real life smoking pot isn't a big deal but it is in the NFL so he's an idiot. It wasn't on HIS PHONE. Someone else took that video and clearly sold it to someone or sent it to someone who shouldn't have gotten it. His account was hacked. Dude, HE'S the one holding that phone. Lol.

Nope. Greinke's velocity is not doing anything all that abnormal for him, so his slightly lower K rate and higher contact rate don't strike me as anything more than early season kinks right now. Sure, the move to Arizona may be to blame, but I don't think you can know that yet. Having no true disparity in splits over his career, no past history of awful performance at Chase and having faced 4 of the Top 6 run scoring offenses in the league, making that move now would seem a tad hasty.

Active topics is gross. Too much social. I don't want to know about nhl, nba, got, and your local pta Exactly. I use this place to keep abreast of Cubs and general MLB info without having to use any of the MLB.com sites. I don't want to have to dig through a boatload of posts concerning crap I simply could not care less about. And if I want to make a terrible joke on a thread that is two months old, and still the 8th post from the top in a forum, then I want to be able to do so in peace.

Welp, damn. Pitching it is, I suppose. Still plenty of bench options out there, and not at all bad guys to have. Reddick would be nice to have. Martin Prado would be another guy I wouldn't hate on the roster. Decent enough with the stick and pretty good defensively at 3B. I just don't see any real obvious upgrades available at positions of "need." The Mets have scored the 2nd fewest runs in MLB. Maybe it's worth asking about an arm there?

Agreed. Once Baez replaces Kawasaki, I can honestly say there's not a single spot in the 25-man I would want to use any resources on upgrading. If they falter or one of the other NL Central teams is hanging annoying close or if there are a run of injuries, sure. But as it stands right now, they project to win the division by 10+ games and the playoffs are still a crapshoot, so there's not really any ROI on trading for MLB talent right now. For me, it all boils down to where Texas is in the standings later this summer, and what their price tag on Beltre is. If it's not too high, I wouldn't hate having him at 3B. Everything else out there is a bench option, IMO. Reddick wouldn't be a bad guy to have on the roster, though he hasn't played LF in a couple of seasons. But he gives you a solid veteran option for RF when you want to give Fowler or Heyward a day off.

Several lower tier/bench options available. Beltre is the one homerun among hitters, but that would depend upon Texas falling out of the race. Prado, Jay and Reddick would be guys worth asking about.
