  1. Let them score so we have enough time for a drive
  2. This feels like this drive is going to decide the game.
  3. huh? I could see that if the two were having the others success, but Jacobs was always considered to be the better I mean in style, ability to break tackles etc. obviously Jacobs is a higher regarded prospect and has a better line blocking for hom
  4. Jacobs is what I imagined Montgomery to be
  5. Beggars can’t be choosers but wish we could have recovered that in the end zone instead of the 1 inch line
  6. Wow, the Raiders didn’t even make it out of the 3rd quarter with the lead lol
  7. Good news: we’re down by a FG! Bad news: our FG kicker just got hurt
  8. What are you seeing that’s so different than last year? Wouldn’t call them a good offense in 2018 either but they were better than this and to me adequate enough to support an elite defense
  9. Bears score their 6th offensive TD of the year in the 3rd quarter of the 5th game. 2 of those TD drives started inside their opponents 15 yard line.
  10. Does anyone remember a rushing attempt going longer than 10 yards this year? I know it’s happened but it hasn’t happened often enough at all.
  11. I don’t think they are better than us but I think they are better than people give them credit. And their quick pass offensive style is not ideal for Bears. Plus Daniel has been terrible and the offensive line continues to play poorly like they have all season
  12. Cohen can’t run out of bounds there, come on
  13. Don’t know. Point is that teams do it all the time and win. Nagy did it before and won. Do you think they were just like “oh crap I forgot to think about jet lag!” when they got here? This is the NFL and coaches go to ridiculous lengths to gain even the tiniest of edges. I highly highly doubt they just forgot to consider jet lag when planning for this year. sure, I'm sure he considered it, but CHUCKY was smarter about it. I thought nagy was smart. guess not. The raiders are two additional time zones away so I’m sure that factored into it for him. If you want to rip on Nagy for being out coached, that’s fair.
  14. Again there is enough evidence of teams coming over exactly the same time as the bears and being successful. If the bears look tired and slow that’s on their game prep and coaching staff. those teams didn't play tired? and did they play other teams arriving at the same time? Don’t know. 16. good leadership by chase to suck so bad people will question the starting QB less
  17. Just 1 of 82 but the Hawks didn't look great to me today. Offense was ok, they had some good chances and scored 3 goals but the defense was same old crap.
  18. 6 minutes in and already the first awful turnover by a blue liner directly leads to a goal.
  19. My only hesitation is he's already 30, 2 years older than Mack. He actually turns 31 this year. Some QBs age, but smaller ones who rush 50+ times for 200-400 yards/season? He runs and gets sacked a lot more than Drew Brees ever has. But I think you have to pull the trigger on that trade that would never happen. He's a stud QB and that's just something you definitely take when you can. If I had to rank the position groups where an uber elite talent helps the team the most, clearly QB is 1. I’d probably have a pass rusher number 2, but the gap between 1 and 2 is big enough that yeah I’d make that trade.
  20. This is going to be like putting on a Friday 1:20 Cubs game on the office TV. Can't wait.
  21. Using your best pitcher to try assure you get more than a game 163 or WC play in game is "galaxy brain?" And now they are going to win and have Flaherty lined up for game 2. So predictable. I have no idea why some franchises just can’t do horsefeathers in the playoffs. Like the Braves could field the NL All Star team and they probably lose this series
  22. Meh, I am obviously in the minority here. It doesn’t even feel like the playoffs to the teams that lose. But hey if everyone else likes it, great
  23. Seems like a good deal
  24. They wouldn’t have even been in the playoffs last year if not for the wild card game. Just kinda sucks for them being in a division with Houston. Yeah my beef is the fact that it’s 1 game not that there should be less playoff teams. It doesn’t even feel like the Cubs were actually in the playoffs last year. I can’t imagine how it feels for fans of teams that don’t have the recent postseason success the Cubs had before that loss. I don’t have the right solution either. A 3 game series would be great but that certainly hurts the team that advances more than a 1 gamer. Definitely don’t want to go to 8 playoff teams a league.
  25. Feel bad for the A’s. Looking to go 0-3 in the Wild Card game I believe Seriously though it’s crazy to me. They’ve won 97 games in each of the last 2 seasons and they have 2 playoff games to show from it. The longer this goes on the less I like the Wild Card game concept
