  1. Is....there a particular reason that he's highlighting the long losing streaks that he has presided over?
  2. There appears to be some sort of metaphysical force that stops the Bears from having a current generation, professional level offense. I do not think any change, from a coaching perspective, QB perspective, GM perspective, will ever change it. It will remain this way until I am dust. I was just thinking last night that I'd love to have a Cutler era offense again where, while never great, could generally move the ball and score points. Sad that our offense is at the point where I'm pining for Cutler-level production and limiting the number of embarrassing performances like yesterday or against Cleveland
  3. He did at least have a nice assist at the end. But yeah that was Wondo-esque
  4. Can he clear protocol by then? I would think it's a given he's out. I'm protocol ignorant so I have no idea. Pretty sure you only need 2 negative tests taken 24 hours apart to be taken off the list, so we won't know until late in the week.
  5. lol.... https://twitter.com/johndietzdh/status/1452676015872958467
  6. Wonder how much the outbreak is going to grow. Fields mentioned yesterday that 45 min before Elijah Wilkinson was declared out, he saw him huddling in a room with another coach going over game plans. Obviously Nagy was around the entire team yesterday. With most of the locker room vaccinated, the spread will be limited but I bet we see a couple more this week.
  7. The guy with all the mystery sources
  8. Blackhawks down 4-1 to Detroit, about to go to 0-5-1 and have yet to lead this season.
  9. Never seen that happen before much less 2 weeks in a row. Maybe don’t throw it deep unless you see the flag on the play ? I don’t know how you can coach something like that
  10. One thing that does concern me about fields beyond things like poor offensive system and reading defenses is that he’s been less accurate than I had expected. Not just on deep balls but I see a lot of overthrows or throws behind. The deflected interception should have been caught but if I’m remembering correctly the pass was high. There was an incompletion from Mooney in the 1st quarter that should have been caught but was thrown behind Mooney a bit. The third interception was under thrown, the first interception sailed high enough that I’m not convinced ARob had a shot at it even if he didn’t slip.
  11. 3 interceptions, 2 lost fumbles, 2 additional fumbles that are recovered. Fields looks like he’s almost in tears on the sideline. Hopefully one day we look at this game as rock bottom for Fields and the Bears
  12. Gotta love the announcers openly mocking the Bears getting blown out. “Oh this is a giant decision for the Bucs” lol
  13. That last INT wasn’t really much of Fields fault but I see horsefeathers like that and wonder how QBs finish with 6-7 INTs in a season. Do other teams never have plays like that? Or where the WR falls down in their route?
  14. I was going to make a post about how Mac Jones put up 54 on the Jets today and the Bears halfway through their 7th game barely got over the 100 point mark for the season. Not saying Jones is a stud and Fields sucks (at least too early to say anything definitive) but there are good organizations out there and then there are the Bears. Btw the NE fans I know have been criticizing Jones constantly and even today said “yeah but it’s the Jets”. Spoiled little shits
  15. I mean i do believe Virginia wants to see the Bears good again before she dies, and not to be crass but she could drop dead any day now. I just don’t think they have any clue how to make the Bears good and/or are blinded by loyalty to Phillips and maybe Pace now. The Bears have had 1.5 good decades of football in the last 6 (I’ll give a 0.5 to the 00’s that had legitimately good teams but only made the playoffs 3 times) so there’s nothing to believe that they can suddenly figure out how to build a winning football organization. They are a mom and pop shop operating an NFL football team in the 3rd largest city in the country. The only way this franchise can turn around their fortunes is to sell the team
  16. 3rd Fields fumble and 3rd Fields turnover today
  17. You think so? I thought it was a bit off though definitely catchable. (Yes I’m still watching lol) The Bucs are clearly better but I expected more from a Nagy coached team since everyone on Twitter tells me we should keep Nagy despite a shitty offense because his players play hard for him. Texans and Lions are currently hanging with their significantly better opponents
  18. Omg I’m turning this horsefeathers off
  19. I don’t even know how to evaluate Fields performance. Yes that was a terrible decision and throw but there are so many things wrong with the Bears offense and coaching, plus the fact that Fields is constantly on the run. So frustrating…I said and still believe let him work through his mistakes but have to wonder about whether he can actually learn anything from this mess of an offense
  20. That sack was not on him. He barely got to his drop before he was sacked I didn’t say it was his fault, he just seems to fumble so easily
  21. 3 and out, strip sack, terrible special teams coverage, 25 yard pass interference, Bucs TD. What a splendid start
  22. Fields needs to figure out how to hang onto the ball since he’s going to be sacked 7-8 times every game. This game has started exactly as bad as I expected
  23. Lol this should be a fun one
