  1. I agree, I didn't understand why Bears fans were flipping out over that call. It may have slightly crossed over, but no way they are changing the call with the reviews we saw IMO. Bears fans should focus their ire on lining up in shotgun for a 1 inch sneak.
  2. My friend who is not a Bears fan said the same thing to me. I said I would have signed up for 0-2 over 1-1 if Fields actually looked good in that 0-2 start rather than mostly bad Fields and a 1-1 start. One win in a season the Bears are punting on is pointless. I'm still not ready to completely give up on Fields because I'm a glutton for punishment, but he needs to start improving. THAT SAID, the QB class at the top of the draft looks decent doesn't it? Stroud, Bryce Young, Levis from UK. The easy schedule might hurt our chances of getting a high enough pick to grab one though. I feel like I'm cheating on Fields by even discussing it but obviously if Fields looks like this at the end of the season we're likely breaking up with him anyways.
  3. Not to mention playcalling. 11 passing attempts in a game at Green Bay? I know he was terrible tonight and easing into the offense and all that but you have to let him try to do more. If he fails because his line and WRs suck so be it.
  4. I….don’t know about fields right now. Fields is averaging 98.5 passing yards after 2 games
  5. Fields is 7-9 passing for 70 yards midway through the 4th quarter. Not trying to make a point or anything but that’s wild Also that’s good for a 99.1 QB rating
  6. Yikes on that deep pass
  7. you're on. i feel like i should suggest some injury protection but horsefeathers it lol :hello: You can just give me $90 now and we’ll call it even. Hey they were 7th after week 1. I’d hold off David and see how many more monsoons we play in before settling
  8. PFF Grading torched his performance in week 1 too
  9. Hey at least Santos is fixed.
  10. Seems concerning that Kmet does not have the most TE catches or targets on the team
  11. 0 first downs since the 1st possession of the game is suboptimal
  12. Ok we can all agree that Lance is bad lol
  13. Lance probably sucks, or at least at this stage of his career. Too bad we won’t get a chance to confirm or refute that this year. They played the first half super conservative too and then finally started allowing fields to pass after they grinded the defense down. That’s not gonna work on the road against Rodgers though
  14. I was going to say why even have us on prime time but I forgot NBC always loves to get one Rodgers slobberfest out there early and who better to enable that slobber fest than the team he owns
  15. That was Green Bay’s plan all along because they know the Bears can’t stop them They also can’t stop the pass Let’s call that a “balanced defense”
  16. Well back to my regularly scheduled Sunday night blues
  17. Man I was really hoping with a new coaching staff we’d stop returning every kick. I couldn’t tell if that went into the end zone though
  18. I mean, he doesn’t have a line and they have no weapons, why would a coaching staff feel comfortable throwing downfield? There’s being conservative and there’s running on 1st and 15 and 2nd and 19 inside the Bears 20
  19. They did the same thing last game. It worked out because the defense held firm (plus weather). Not sure it works the same way against Rodgers for too long.
  20. Yeah…not impressed with Fields the last 2 drives. It also feels like the coaching staff either is scared to let Fields throw downfield or they are bringing him along very slowly and sticking to establishing the run early regardless of the situation.
  21. Certainly turning towards the pressure is not the right move there

    NFL Week 2

The Cardinals need to fire Kliff Kingsbury mainly because they can’t fire Kyler Murray. Kyler looks like a typical Bears QB out there
  23. Good tank loss. Rockies entered the series 1 game better than us and they leave 2 games better. 17 Cubs played in todays game. Only 3 of them were on the opening day roster (Happ, Gomes, Wick)
  24. Cubs officially eliminated Assad on the bump for the Cubs
  25. This Iowa thing is bizarre. 3 lightning delays and the game is still in a delay. After the 2nd delay, they literally played 1 play before going back into another delay.
