  1. Edit: nevermind, Gabriel got fooled by a fake tweet. Should have known better
  2. Top Guard off the board to Denver
  3. Probably not relevant to the Bears but who knows...interesting news
  4. A quick summary on Edwards that I found:
  5. and we're off 84.8 PFF grade last year
  6. Poles forgot to move his clock ahead. He's going to log in in an hour with no one left.
  7. The bubble is so incredibly bad that Wisconsin is being prominently mentioned as one of the 3-4 teams in consideration for the last spot. No bid stealers, almost every bubble team losing early in conference tournaments. Illini fans can enjoy the fact that Michigan blowing a 7 point lead with 1:49 left in OT is keeping Michigan from being right in this discussion. Of course there were another 3-4 Michigan collapses of similar ridiculousness that also could have Michigan in the discussion too (like blowing a 5 point lead with less than a minute left vs Iowa, scoring 0 points in the final 5 minutes of a 1 point loss to Indiana and blowing a double digit lead with 9:30 left at Indiana)
  8. Hadn’t thought about Robinson. If we wanted to go that route we could almost certainly trade down again to get him. With Herbert currently at the top of the depth chart it is a position of need unless they do something in FA/resign Monty, though Edge rusher and OLine are much more needed
  9. I would love to see them do that. That should make those future picks more valuable. I think regardless who they draft they are gonna have a hard time not giving the Bears a top 10 pick next year. The only thing saving them is that the entire NFC South could be absolutely terrible next year and they might accidentally win the division or at the very least have their win total inflated by a couple wins.
  10. I'm reading some takes that the Panthers are really enamored with Anthony Richardson. Crazy if they traded up to 1 to take a guy who was the consensus 4th QB 2 weeks ago.
  11. When is the last time the Bears had 2 first round picks in the same draft like we will next year? The year we had 3 and drafted Grossman?
  12. Yeah my 2 gripes are not getting #40 and the other 2nd round pick being in 2025. But minor nitpicks for a trade I like overall. I think Poles really wanted to get this done before FA and he may have been able to hold off and get the earlier Panthers 2nd but valued getting it done now. Bears have 55, 61 and 65 now. If there's somoene we love, would easly package 2 of them to move up, but given the Bears holes probably better to use all 3 picks.
  13. Always interesting to read opposing reactions. From what I saw: 50% of panthers fans thought it was a fair trade 35% thought they got ripped off 15% thought they ripped off the Bears and about Moore: 60% are absolutely destroyed that he's gone 30% are sad he's gone 10% are taking slight shots at him, saying things like "he was never able to elevate a bad offense with a bad QB like other top WRs can" (which..wha?)
  14. You would know better than I, but I assume having late career Cam Newton, Sam Darnold and Baker Mayfield didnt help his production too much.
  15. Perfect spot for Quentin Johnston Is this like the Cubs trying to get all the SSs back in the day? You can never have enough great WRs and Moore/Claypool/Mooney maybe the 15th best WR trio in the league but the Bears have so so so many more holes to fill. I'm concerned about impact game-changing talent on defense. I'm sure Poles has a plan though.
  16. DJ Moore 2022 highlights Also I read somewhere that Moore's last 5 seasons worth of production would make him the 3rd best Bears WR of all time lol
  17. Would Paris Johnson be a solid pickup at 9? Maybe Myles Murphy?
  18. It was originally San Francisco's pick. Yeah, I was just saying that I wish it was #40 overall, which is their own pick. It's hard to assess the value of DJ Moore though...I'm sure that was what the Bears had to settle for if they wanted Moore.
