  1. To be honest, he didn't look that hurt. He kinda just had O'Neal and Dusty come out and Dusty took the ball. Something must have been bothering him before the start and Dusty let him come out and pitch anyways
  2. Don't get too excited, Glendon will be on to extend the Pirates lead
  3. WHAT CANT THE NEW LOUISIANA LUMBERJACK DO????
  4. I like him after reading about him in ESPN the mag this month. Don't let the Hype network get to you. They were obviously lying. Actually he seemed like a nice guy when I talked to him in April
  5. Wait, that's SERIOUSLY the injury? Oh you've gotta be kidding. No, thats not Z's injury....thats Jock Jones' injury
  6. I'd sure love Nick Johnson if we didn't have Derrek Lee on the team. .425 OBP
  7. I'm listening to the Cardinals broadcast, Rooney sure likes talking about what's going on
  8. Infected tear duct? You could make an all star roster if you combined the Red Sox and Cubs crazy injured rosters.
  9. This is silly, but I forgot. Is Mateo injured? I can't keep track of which players are injured or not.
  10. Wait there was ONE OUT when Cedeno misfired home?!?! I thought there was none out....that settles it....Cedeno should be thrown in Lake Michigan
  11. Its the top of the Cards lineup in the 9th...gonna be tough
  12. See this is my problem with Z....he's a great pitcher, and a great character...but can you really count on him in any particular game. Since he is still showing signs of letting adversity getting to him, its safe to say that THIS WILL NEVER CHANGE. He also has trouble in big games, as evidenced by by his mediocre playoff performance in 2003 and his performance in some, not all, of his big games in 2004. He has also had issues in both of his opening day starts. Z needs to come into 2007 improved. I expect better of him. *of course this could be WBC fatigue. But that isn't hurting Jake Peavy
  13. :) Anyone else have Howard and Pujols on their squads.
  14. I love Ryan Howard....not a lot of people picked him in the HR derby pool, and I'm certianly profiting from that right now :)
  15. Just a simple yes or no is acceptable, or give reasoning. 2 QB league, my 2 starters are Brunell and Warner and I have Rivers as a backup. I am understandably shakey about that QB situation. So I am looking for another backup QB, and I found one in Mark Bulger. The team he is on is starting P. Manning and Green, and has no RBs (starting Dunn, J. Jones, T. Jones) So I proposed To him: Mike Bell, Den Rivers, SD For: Bulger, St. L My RBs right now are L. Johnson, R. Brown, Westbrook and K. Jones as my 4th RB. My logic is Denver RBs always run, so its appealing for him, but hes unproven so trading him could totally work out in my favor. Yay/Nay
  16. Thats rough...one out qualifying for his first big league win....no shaving cream pie in the face today... Edit: 8888
  17. An injured Cub. This is our first injury of the year right?
  18. I just got done telling my friend I'm glad Ryan Howard has stepped up so we might have a challenger to Pujols in the 'best player' category. And then he goes and matches Howard
  19. Geez, yet another Alou groundout to the left side. I am so sick of it! Oh wait, thats a good thing now :)
