    At least they are calling it a slump rather then a fluke. A slump indicates that the person making the comment believes that the player is better to whatever extent then the way they are playing. A fluke means that yesterday's game is an abberation and has little chance of happening again with any consistancy.

    That sucks that they think that but who cares? I'm not speaking to you in general Banedon, but I don't see why people get so worked up about what some talking head on TV says about their team. It's not going to make the Bears any less likely to win the Super Bowl.

    Quite possibly 6. The receivers coach ripped into him pretty good on the sidelines after that play, according to WBBM. Yup, just shows you that Bradley still has some learning to do. He's gonna be a solid player in some time, but Berrian has been good all year so he deserves a majority of the reps. Where has Rashied Davis been the last few games (besides fumbling kickoffs)? I know the Bears haven't used the slot a lot with the offense being dumbed down but its weird not hearing his name.

    Also 4 of the last 5 games have been on the road against the best competition of the year. That said, I know as a Bears fan, I am going to be hanging on for dear life when the playoffs start

    I don't get why the Bears haven't run more plays to utilize the teams speed and agility. I mean they have to an extent, but what seems to work best to maximize the ability of these speed guys are slant routes and screens. I mean I'm not suggesting going back to the John Shoop days (seriously...I'm not), but giving the Bears more room to run has never been a bad thing now that we got the right personnel.

    Not to kill the joy here, but it was against the Rams bad D. But screw it I am not going to downplay his performance tonight on National TV with all that damn pressure on him from local and national media...the kid stepped up and played a smart game and got a win. Good job Rexy....now do it for 3 more weeks and get ready for some playoff wins!

    The Bulls are going to win at least 45 games this year. I was watching the Bears game and didn't have audio for the Bulls (but it was on TV) were Harrington, Jackson, Daniels and someone else all out??

    Lovie mentioned that just now on NFL Network. He mentioned that they were going to try and do that? He said something like "man we gotta try him on offense too, get him in there whenever we can" What a steal of a pick, I cant believe I criticized that pick

    Lovie is very entertaining today. Nothing better then sitting at a bar with the Bears on my left and the Bulls on my right and both winning blowouts

    I'd be getting back into the Hawks right now if they played home games on TV. Unfortunately because they don't it will take me and a lot of other Chicagoans a long time before they get back into things.

    Haha, if you did that last week for the vikings game, you would have had 1/2 shot of alcohol over a 3 hour period.

    As much as I wouldn't want to goto the Superdome for the NFC Championship game, I would worry about getting a bye and a home playoff game much more then HFA. To do that we only need to win one more game.

    Nah, I don't think even if he threw for 11 TDs tonight that it would be back to "Rex is Awesome" . It would be more like "Rex is awesome sometimes but ridiculously inconsistent, Bears still can't count on him to win in playoffs" He won't get rid of that stigma until he wins in the playoffs.

    Deadline is Thursday, but they are saying that they need him to sign by Tuesday so they can conduct a physical and finalize the contract before its official.

    Maybe the bad ones count because 5 of the 6 good games have come in the first 7 weeks and 3 of the 4 bad ones have come in the last 5 weeks. He started getting bad when teams learned to put pressure on Grossman and force him into making bad decisions (thanks to Denny Green and Arizona). When the pressure came, so did the turnovers. Then recently, its been a confidence problem as Turner has made the offense more conservative and Grossman has been shakey. He's not the same QB he was in the first 5 weeks of the season, you Grossman defenders need to realize that the gameplan to stop Rex is out there and works almost every time.
