  1. My Predictions: Ravens 24 Colts 20 Eagles 30 Saints 21 Bears 27 Seahawks 17 Patriots 27 Chargers 23
  2. Can somebody redo the Dusty dice picture but do it for Skiles?
  3. Now I can't seem to pull anything up
  4. Keep searching. Sometimes it takes 7-8 searches to get some to pull up. I had to do it like 5 times.
  5. If you were going to make that trip, I would take the gamble and wait for next week. BTW, pulled up Caddy Club pairs and section 431 pairs ($110 seats)
  6. Don't knock those end zone seats. I had a pair to the Buffalo game, and every TD except one was scored in my end zone. They wound up being the best seats in the house, bar none. Have fun at the game! I've sat in the end zone for a game once against the Vikings in 2004 (Chad Hutchinson's breakout game!) and it wasn't all that bad. I guess I am just spoiled because the last 6 games I've been to since that game I've sat in the Cadillac Club right on the 40 yard line. Caddy club seats are nice, but I don't think they're worth the 3x price. It's too much. I've got them this time, and I won't be doing it again. I heard Sunday might be blustery and sleet----bring your jacket  Yup not worth the price. 5 of those games my buddy's parents have season tickets and invited me, and the 6th time I managed to sneak into the Caddy club with some end zone ticket I bought minutes before the game. That game happened to be the one time the heated comforts of the Caddy club were worth it as it was the Atlanta game.

  8. They just released more tickets online. I just bought a pair of $95 seats to the game! Crappy seats (behind the North endzone) but I could care less!
  9. I really enjoyed this article about the Bears as they progress throughout the season. I think the article is written very fairly and balanced. http://www.sportingnews.com/yourturn/viewtopic.php?t=166696
  10. I am refraining from voting because there is no way I can make a choice between Buck and Morgan
  11. Why trade the lefty of that group that you listed? I guess we do have Cotts and Ohman, but still.
  12. I really don't see how the Cubs executive VP of business operations Mark McGuire fits in with the Cardinals greats either. Ok bad joke off a misspelling.
  13. I say we draft either O-Line or a Safety and cut Mike Brown. If we cut Mike Brown, I'd even consider trading up to get like LaRon Landry. Also if we cut Mike Brown, we will probably have the space to safely resign Briggs. We'd have a lot of inexperience in the secondary, but Manning should improve next year and the unit will get better as the season progresses.
  14. OK. How about 8 games with a rating over 98? And 23 TD passes, good for 7th in the NFL. Yes I agree that when he's looked good he's been good. Overall for the season: 12th in passing yards 28th in interceptions 24th in QB rating 25th in completion % 20th in YPG Not terrible, but not great either
  15. His explanation is that Rex is more concerned about the where the next party is than what the next job is. Unbelievable. I knew as soon as Rex made that statement about not being prepared, everyone would be all over it. I know it seems silly, but Rex seems to be singled out and ripped on more than any other player I've seen in a while. Also, I'm pretty sure Rex is a gametape freak and a pretty hard worker. Plus, I think Orton is way more of a partier than him. SORRY EVERYONE I NEED TO VENT Esiason is a moron!!!! I am so sick and tired of people jumping on Grossman. Not because im a bears fan or the Bus driver for Team Grossman, but I seriously hope he goes ape "poopy" on the seahawks. They are raggin on him for being honest. The game was meaningless, and a week earlier, in another meaningless game, he looked like he lost his puppy when he got taken out. The national media and the token local blowhard(rosenbloom via marriotti) conveniently forget about the history of this team especially the last ten years, and the truly rancid quarterbacks we have seen. So as "bad" as Grossman has been, he is the first quarterback since Eric Kramer to: 1. start all 16 games in a season 2. Pass for over 3000 yards Enjoy this gaggle of Crap: Here are the passing leaders for this team since Kramer's first year in 94 2005 Orton, Kyle 368 190 1,869 9 13 59.7 2004 Hutchinson, Chad 161 92 903 4 3 73.6 2003 Stewart, Kordell 251 126 1,418 7 12 56.8 2002 Miller, Jim 314 180 1,944 13 9 77.5 2001 Miller, Jim 395 228 2,299 13 10 74.9 2000 McNown, Cade 280 154 1,646 8 9 68.5 1999 Matthews, Shane 275 167 1,645 10 6 80.6 1998 Kramer, Erik 250 151 1,823 9 7 83.1 1997 Kramer, Erik 477 275 3,011 14 14 74.0 1996 Krieg, Dave 377 226 2,278 14 12 76.3 1995 Kramer, Erik 522 315 3,838 29 10 93.5 1994 Walsh, Steve 343 208 2,078 10 8 77.9 So our 26 year old qb, in his first full season threw for 3000 yards!!!! WAHHH!!! HOW TERRIBLE!!! Do you think there's a coorelation between being the first QB to start 16 games and the first since Kramer to throw for 3,000 yards? I mean Kitna threw for over 4,000 yards, but he also led the league in TOs
  16. :( I don't get it. IIRC, if he's put on the IR he can't come off until the next season. Meaning he wouldn't be able to play at all next year. That doesn't make sense. The quote, which is common knowledge I thought, is stating that Tommie Harris cannot play in the playoffs. He will be able to play opening day next year. I am not sure what you are saying.
  17. I don't know what to think of this team. They are starting to be frustrating to watch like last years team. At least they aren't like 7-10 games under .500 like last year....yet
  18. Whats with the Big 10 only has 2 good teams comment? BCS Bowl Appearences: Big 10: Ohio State - 5 Michigan - 4 Wisconsin - 2 Illinois - 1 Iowa - 1 Penn State - 1 Purdue - 1 SEC: Florida - 4 LSU - 3 Georgia - 2 Tennessee - 2 Alabama - 1 Auburn - 1 The Big 10 has actually had more teams in the BCS bowls then the SEC and almost every year we have an at large team. Of course you can argue that the Big 10 travels well and brings in money, which is of course true, but my point stands.
  19. I think a playoff game would mean a lot to the confidence of this team and its fans. I'd like to share with you guys an image from out last match up. I'd like to say I made it, but it shows...a less than stellar play by our Charles Tillman. Don't get me wrong, he's had a great season, but at the time it was priceless: http://photos.pe.facebook.com/v62/69/118/1949429/n1949429_34800795_9735.jpg EDIT: Yea, there is another bye week before the Super Bowl. Its fairly new I think.[/img] Definitely remember that play. Darrell Jackson just flat out dropped a free TD pass. The game was still sorta in doubt at the time too.
  20. I remember when Cruz got traded for Pratt and Lewis and thinking what the hell. We were proposing crazy trades for big name players with that guy. (Gee, kinda like we do with Rich Hill and Felix Pie today..)
  21. I don't see how the Seahawks have a chance at pressuring Rex. Their front 4 hasn't been good all season. If they blitz, they're going to leave an already bad secondary exposed 1 on 1. The only thing that could help their defense is the weather. If the wind is as bad as forcast, it will hamper the passing games of both teams, and even then I like the Bears run offense vs Seattle. Seattle just doesn't match up well anywhere. They don't have that small, shifty slot reciever that gives the Bears trouble. Alexander doesn't have much of a burst right now. Hasselback gets rattled if you hit him a couple times. Jerramy Stevens is inconsistent, and won't have the Roy "I can't cover anyone" Williams defending the middle of the field. Barring an absolute disaster game from Rex, I don't see how we lose. And I don't think this is a team that can force a disaster game out of him. I haven't read anything that uplifting in a while. If we lose I'm holding you accountable US  That's fine, hold me accountable. :D I honestly don't see this as much of a game, unless the weather and/or Rex is bad. I'm thinking something like 24-10. Hopefully the Bears don't see this as much of a walk in the park as you do :) But yeah, its hard to see the Seahawks winning to be honest, but I'm not willing to go as far as you are. But in their last 4 weeks they lost to Arizona, San Francisco (2 teams we beat...SF handily, who they lost to twice), San Diego and beat a bad Bucs team. Then in the playoffs they look only OK against a plummeting Cowboys team. They are banged up all over the place, and not as talented as last years team. That said, they are still a good team, and the Bears have yet to prove they can play good defense with Tommie Harris out (since then they've given up 27 to the Rams, 31 to the Bucs, 21 to the Lions and 26 to the Packers). And there is no way of knowing which Grossman is going to show up, sad as it is to admit it. Until the Bears get a playoff win, I am going to be bracing every step of the way. If the Bears win, it will be the first playoff round win for a non-Sox team in Chicago since the 2003 Cubs and before then the 1998 Bulls.
  22. 4/40 for a guy whose team basically ate his contract and waived him last year
  23. Score is reporting he is out. ESPN is reporting that Darrell Jackson is very likely out. Also DJ Hackett will probably be questionable.
  24. I had no idea that Michael Restovich as on this list. I never knew he was considered a "top" prospect
  25. If he's meaning that the Bears are compensating for the Harris and Brown injuries, then that's true...but I wonder if they are looking at the last few weeks games and thinking that the Bears are vulnerable in places where they may not be this week. Just a thought. They did change what they do. Back in the Seattle game, almost no blitzes were called because the D-Line was getting such good pressure on the QB. Now without Tommie, Rivera has been using a lot of blitzes and leaving the safties in single coverage.
