  1. So are Bonds and Clemens going to share a jail cell?
  2. I am getting the same errors i was getting for the Rockies World Series, namely that it wont refresh
  3. I am going to be pissed if the fans in line get to snatch up all the opening day tickets because the stupid Cobs ticket system broke.
  4. I don't know what you're talking about, I have tickets to 9 games already :)
  5. I've gotten home opener tickets easily the last 4 years, so I'm not worried. That's all I'm looking for.
  6. Mulleted fans?
  7. Jock Jones running around the clubhouse in goggles?? Just kidding, I'll take a giant LEAP and guess which one your talking about.
  8. Wasn't Berrian caught giving up on routes that he wasn't the intended receiver a few times last year too? I seem to remember something like that happening in the Redskins game and he was picked apart by the announcers.
  9. Wasn't Berrian caught giving up on routes that he wasn't the intended receiver a few times last year too? I seem to remember something like that happening in the Redskins game and he was picked apart by the announcers.
  10. Why would anyone hate this? It's the start of a new era of ballparks. I think just about everyone is sick of the old standard ballpark design. The last 2 ballparks with that were built like this, Busch Stadium III and Nationals Park look really bland and boring to me. Much like The Cell was the last of its kind, Nationals park (or maybe Chase Field) will be the last of their kind. The TB park is fresh and daring, I really like it. Kinda weird that its only being built for 35,000 though. Some of the other renderings from inside the park almost make it look like a minor league park.
  11. Gotta love when one team's 5th starter and another team's over the hill below league average first baseman start a war of words
  12. Baltimore Sun I don't know if I want a player whose got kidney stone issues on the team. What if he misses a key AB in the playoffs because he's off passing a kidney stone? :)
  13. I wouldn't mind the blue jerseys back for (like they said) SELECT games. In 2005-2006 they wore the blue jerseys more than they wore the home/roads. If they wore the blues 20 times a year, I'd actualy like them.
  14. This is completely fabricated but w/e This is what the Sun Times said. Not much I know:
  15. Johan too. I'm sure a lot of teams fans have daily debates about potential trades. They just do it within the confines of their own communities. I bet the average Blue Jays or Angels fan would probably not even know about this potential deal, nor all the crap that has gone along with it.
  16. Oh what great insider information bigbird. Implying that you already knew about about reported information and then adding an unverifiable claim to it.
  17. I just can't believe the White Sox fans think their bullpen is much better than ours. We had the number 3 bullpen ERA in the NL last year at 3.76 (7th in MLB) White Sox had the number 13 bullpen ERA in the AB at 5.47 (28th in MLB) They pick up Dotel and Linebrink (horribly overrated) and all the sudden the Sox bullpen is better in a landslide??
  18. What do you think would happen if Murton hits the cover off the ball all spring?
  19. That comparison is so dumb, they don't even get to count one of their best offensive players in Thome in that. I think the Cubs are slightly better overall than the White Sox. I think winning 78 games (which is where I have the Sox) in the AL Central is like winning 88 games in the NL Central (which is around where I have the Cubs)
  20. Aramis sure made some nice comments about plate discipline today...
  21. Take a look at what Al at BCB has so far. He's being rediculously optimistic: Geovany Soto: .278/.343/.426 15 HR, 26 2B, 65 RBI, 62 R Derrek Lee: .320/.399/.588 36 HR, 40 2B, 95 RBI, 103 R Mark DeRosa: .295/.357/.429 11 HR, 32 2B, 67 RBI, 70 R Aramis Ramirez: .301/.354/.572 40 HR, 37 2B, 122 RBI, 99 R Ryan Theriot: .277/.341/.376 3 HR, 36 2B, 40 RBI, 85 R Alfonso Soriano: .295/.339/.546 39 HR, 44 2B, 96 RBI, 111 R
  22. Looks like Clement won't be ready anytime soon:
