    The best part about Year 2 of Lou is, we know his tendencies better. There is no way he sticks with this 1-2 for very long. He'll make a change.

    Cubs' lineup per ESPN 1000: theriot soriano lee ramirez fukudome derosa soto pie lily Same as opening day. How much longer will this theriot/soriano disaster go on? At this point I'm rooting for Reed Johnson to start over Pie just so that the lineup doesn't suck like this.

    Can't do it....I work in an office with a large number of Cubs fans. Last year I tried blocking out the games a couple of times, and every time it was ruined by someone screaming "ARAMIS HOME RUN!!!" or something like that. There is no way I'd be able to keep the outcome of the game a secret in my office. well how are they watching the game but not you? They're not, their following the games on Sportsline or MLB.com. The point is, if I DVR the game, I am going to want to watch it without knowing the final outcome. It's impossible to do so at my office.

    Poor you Roast. Because it's an April home series, I am not going to be able to watch one minute of the games Wednesday, Thursday, Friday or Monday. Our first night game of the season isn't until next Wednesday. Ever since I graduated college and started a job, I've been in favor of more night games at Wrigley.

    I think the Brewers take this one too. The Brewers kill lefties, and Lilly was 1-1 with a 5.29 ERA against them last year in 3 starts. Suppan is a crafty veteran. The Cubs suck against crafty vets. Suppan was 1-1 with a 2.84 ERA against the Cubs last year in 3 starts.

    How do you guys feel about Geo Soto's performance today? I feel like he's been very quiet and almost forgotten in the Cubs lineup. He struggled in the Spring, but looked alright today drawing 2 walks.

    No matter what your perception was of how Fukodome handled lefties in spring training (and I think it may be a bit flawed) there is NO WAY the Cubs are having Fukodome platoon with any one. He isn't talking about things that the Cubs would actually do. He's talking about things that they SHOULD do.
