There goes Dempsters ERA Here comes our long reliever to surely get 2 outs and then leave the game. -
Yeah cause normally Z and Lee are terrible. :roll: No but Z's ERA has risen every year and his ERA last year was around 4. Lee had like 10 HRs in April and hit over .300. I know I'm being my usual irrational self, but c'mon this lead was built on some solid unexpected performances that are leveling out now. Yep we're done.............. hopefully we can stay ahead of the Stro's Haha, you act like no team has ever blew a big lead in June.* *note: I am not implying the Cubs are going to blow their lead. In fact, rational UMFan knows the Cubs will be fine

Are you saying we should let them keep scoring until the storm comes and the game is cancelled? Highly doubt they would call a game where one team is winning handily. If its 1-0 or 2-0 and its raining for 3 hours, then fine. But 4-0 with 2 on and 1 out in the third, they are going to give them every opportunity to play 5.

Remember in April and May when we were amazed at how well Dempster, Zambrano, Lee, Soto, Cedeno, etc were playing. Well umm tide just might be turning.

I'm firmly in the camp that believes that Beasley will be better for the next 2-3 years, but Rose will have the better career when all is said and done. However, Beasley's biggest downside is his height. Do not forget that Tyrus was about 6'8 after he was taken after his Frosh year, and now stands around 6'10 1/2 presently. Luol Deng had a similar albeit smaller increase as well. -

It just scares me that this is our RH bench when Reed is starting Cedeno Blanco I understand the roster crunch. It would be a lot easier if Fontenot played SS, so we could just ship Cedeno off and replace him with someone.
