  1. Thank God. Nice AB DeRosa after the poor start to it.
  2. Man I'd be annoyed at Vazquez if I was a Sox fan Of course I'd also be high as a kite if I was a Sox fan as well.
  3. I swear I thought long ABs favored the hitter over time. It seems like every long battle we've had ends up poorly.
  4. I bet White Sox fans love the fact that Mark Grace is doin this game and talking on and on about his career with the Cubs. I bet DBacks fans love hearing him say "I want the Cubs to do it this year" during the opening.
  5. Gotta love Fox's camera angle. I still remember that game against the Red Sox in 2005 where someone (Manny I think) hit a fly ball just short of the track and Fox's camera angle made it seem like it was about to go into Lake Michigan.
  6. How bout a fly short of the warning track like Crede's? Well thats just because Crede is so dreamy. I heard a hint of female cheering there.
  7. How is that lucky? Crede has terrific range for a 3B. That's what he gets paid to do, make diving catches and hit HRs. I'm pretty sure his range is pretty poor compared to what it used to be. It's lucky because their pitcher is throwing a ton of pitches, we are hitting some hard balls, and they are either right at them or they are making amazing catches. See Dye yesterday. From what I''ve seen of him, he still seems to get to a lot of balls. He's been making a lot of errors this season, but obviously we all know thats not the only way to judge a player defensively.
  8. Say what you want about Sox fans, but they know how to react to a warning track flyball like that one.
  9. How is that lucky? Crede has terrific range for a 3B. That's what he gets paid to do, make diving catches and hit HRs. If you add on, "There's a reason why he's better than Ramirez," I'd have believed you meant to post that from your alt account. [-X lol, ok this joke might get old quick

  11. no, I'm pretty pessimistic on this name haha
  12. That's a funny post and wrong as well. Show me which NSBB guidelines he breaks? Being pessimistic isn't one. I don't really notice his posts a lot, but just to make sure, I went back and read his last 20 posts before posting that.
  13. why would you ever think that he'd have a juan pierre-like strikeout rate? he K'ed at a rate of roughly 100 times per season in japan, and that was in fewer games. I don't know, I guess I heard a lot of baseball people rave about his strikeout rate. I guess its relative though.
  14. This reminds me of Rich Hill during the AJ/Barrett game. Someone punch AJ in the face again please.
  15. I don't see the need to trash on CubsGM. He is doing nothing that warrants any disciplinary action. Just ignore him if you don't like what he has to say.
  16. I really thought that Kosuke would stike out less than he has. He's no Juan Pierre up there when it comes to striking out.
  17. Well after today we might not be able to call ourselves 'the best team in baseball' as the Red Sox and Rays can pass us and the Angels tie us
  18. YEah, dempster too! I don't remember Dempster getting skipped over and moved back like Gallagher has
  19. Since Soriano went down we are 2-5. Before that we are a somewhat respectable 14-16
  20. Starters ERA this week up to the minute (5 games): 13.74
  21. Our rotation has been a disaster this week. Marshall 7 ER, 4.2 IP Lilly 4 ER, 7.1 IP Marquis 7 ER 4 IP Dempster 8 ER 2.1 IP Gallagher so far 3 ER 0.2 IP
  22. He doesnt look as sharp as he did 2 years ago when he started against Tampa. Maybe he should have not skipped him twice in the rotation.
