Good to see we can take the bats off of our shoulders when a fastball comes.

We need a RH hitter off the bench with some pop. I don't care if we have a 3 man bench. Thornton was able to kill us with 3 of the 5 hitters he faced being lefties and we couldnt do anything to stop him because we have crap on the bench.

Doesn't look like a bad decision to bring him in now that he was able to get through 5 outs. Now they have Linebrink, Dotel and Jenks to use for the next 2+ innings.

Yeah Edmonds is not that great vs. Lefties.

Also looks like Lou is ready to pull him at the first sign of trouble. And he faces Wise, Cabrera, and Pierzynski...not exactly the high power part of their order.

Wow the ERA's of their bullpen: 2.28 3.24 3.19 2.08 1.45 2.25 Wonder which one Cotts is, which one Hermanson is and which one Polite is.

Blah. The bullpen is pretty good. Funny how the worst 2 bullpens in baseball last year (Rays and White Sox) are now among the best. Shows you what a crapshoot the pen is.

We're tied, but it feels like we are losing by 3 for some reason.

I'm almost positive his OBP against lefties is near .400. .392 coming into today. Wonder if a lot of that was in April and May though because it doesn't seem like hes a good matchup against most lefties lately.
