  1. Fukudome can hit lefties, but not tough lefties with 2 seam fastballs.
  2. Dammit, other people would have scored there. Oh well a base hit scores 2. But Fukudome is up against a really tough lefty.
  3. Now that was about as bad of an AB as you are going to see.
  4. C'mon which is it going to be. We goin to rip on Soto for not taking as many walks as before or are we going to rip on Soto for taking a borderline pitch? Wasn't the best decision to take a close pitch with 2 strikes, but I can't blame him for trying to work Vazquez.
  5. It feels like every hitter in the White Sox lineup can nail a HR at any point.
  6. I know I shouldn't blame this entire debacle on Lou's decision to give Gallagher a 9 day break in between starters, but the man was dealing before this start. He doesn't look nearly as crisp or even as confident as he was in previous starts.
  7. Just starting over here on Belmont and Southport.
  8. Yay that will make up for one of the DPs yesterday :)
  9. Thank God. Nice AB DeRosa after the poor start to it.
  10. Man I'd be annoyed at Vazquez if I was a Sox fan Of course I'd also be high as a kite if I was a Sox fan as well.
  11. I swear I thought long ABs favored the hitter over time. It seems like every long battle we've had ends up poorly.
  12. I bet White Sox fans love the fact that Mark Grace is doin this game and talking on and on about his career with the Cubs. I bet DBacks fans love hearing him say "I want the Cubs to do it this year" during the opening.
  13. Gotta love Fox's camera angle. I still remember that game against the Red Sox in 2005 where someone (Manny I think) hit a fly ball just short of the track and Fox's camera angle made it seem like it was about to go into Lake Michigan.
  14. How bout a fly short of the warning track like Crede's? Well thats just because Crede is so dreamy. I heard a hint of female cheering there.
  15. How is that lucky? Crede has terrific range for a 3B. That's what he gets paid to do, make diving catches and hit HRs. I'm pretty sure his range is pretty poor compared to what it used to be. It's lucky because their pitcher is throwing a ton of pitches, we are hitting some hard balls, and they are either right at them or they are making amazing catches. See Dye yesterday. From what I''ve seen of him, he still seems to get to a lot of balls. He's been making a lot of errors this season, but obviously we all know thats not the only way to judge a player defensively.
  16. Say what you want about Sox fans, but they know how to react to a warning track flyball like that one.
  17. How is that lucky? Crede has terrific range for a 3B. That's what he gets paid to do, make diving catches and hit HRs. If you add on, "There's a reason why he's better than Ramirez," I'd have believed you meant to post that from your alt account. [-X lol, ok this joke might get old quick
