    take a breath, dude, we're an out away from winning game one against our chief rivals and the team directly below us in the standings on the road. this is a HUGE win He's a little melodramatic at times... Not really...I just think there is much more to lose in losing this game at this point than there is to gain by winning...I obviously hope we win

    Why aren't the Cubs wearing their traditional road caps (blue with red bill)? I noticed they weren't like that in SF either. Sorry if its been asked before, I've been out of the loop.

    Sabathia threw more innings last year than Harden has the last 3 years combined. Agreed. But hes absolutely dominating right now, and theoretically the A's have absolutely no reason to trade him since they are currently contending

    So most of our pitchers and hitters sucked, yet we went 15-12 in the month? I like it

    I have no idea why they are saying that Sabathia can't be had because of our farm, but then suggest that Harden is an option. I believe due to Hardens numbers this year, and the fact that Oakland is contending this year, he is going to be even pricier than Sabathia. Personally, I don't think we get either of them and end up with Burnett, who I think is the one pitcher whose current ballclub wants to get rid of the most.

    The more I look at it, the more I think we are going to have a really tough time against Zito tonight. - Fukudome has looked horrible against lefties lately - Despite having 2 hits last night, Edmonds is simply not the same player against lefties - Cedeno is horrible against lefties - No Ramirez, no Soriano greatly reduces our power Overall, we do not have a good lineup to match up against lefties right now, and we seem to be facing a number of them in a row. However, Soto, Lee and Theriot really hit lefties well, so hopefully Lilly can pitch a good game and we can come out with a 3-0 or 4-1 or 5-2 game

    It really doesn't matter what the White Sox do. Thanks for telling me who I can or can't cheer for. I don't want the White Sox to pass us recordwise.

    Indians score 1 in the first, White Sox counter with 3. With the rate things are going we might be 2nd in the divison and 2nd in the city soon! Why are all of our rivals doing awesome at the same time.
